Wauneta-Palisade will have a new Head Coach for the Boys Basketball Program next year and it is a name that many are familiar with. Gale Bly will be in charge of the team and entering next season it will be his 51st year coaching. He has coached a variety of sports from girls and boys basketball, volleyball, and more. He has been well involved in coaching for a long time.
He coached at Culbertson throughout his career for seven years in the late 70's and early 80's.
Bly will take over a team that went 1-19 last season. Clark Benne was the head coach for the Broncos this past season. This is a tea, that has some solid talent and we will see what Bly is able to do with this squad in 2024-2025.
