It was another busy week of football in the fourth week of the season in the RPAC. Check out the graphic below with all the scores and some notes and highlights from the past week.
Cambridge battled Southern Valley on Friday night at home and won in a big way 56-20. Kohan Grindle was a factor again for the Trojans with 356 yards of total offense and five touchdowns. Southern Valley had a nice game out of Rian Grove with seven catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Cambridge is now 2-2 and Southern Valley falls to 0-4.
Hitchcock County just keeps on winning. On Friday night they took care of business once again with a big 68-0 over Loomis. They put up 62 points in the first half to cruise to victory. The Falcons are 4-0 on the year now.
Maywood-Hayes Center battled Medicine Valley and won by a large margin, 77-40. Haydn Farr had a nice game with three carries for 131 yards and two touchdowns. The Wolves are now 3-1 and Medicine Valley is now 0-4.
Paxton took on Shelton this last Thursday and fell 58-24. Paxton had a great game our of Gunnar Foster with 128 yards rushing and two touchdowns. The Tigers fall to 0-3 on the season now.
Wallace has had a couple of close losses this season, but last week they took care of business as they beat South Platte 58-8. Wallace was led by Matt Lungrin with 188 yards rushing and two scores, and Carson Glunz, as he had 154 yards rushing and six touchdowns. Wallace is now 1-2.
Southwest won big this past week over Creek Valley 60-6. Mitchell Stritt led the way for the Roughriders with 105 yards on only two carries and had two touchdowns.
