It was a full week on the mats as many teams got back into the swing of things from the Holiday Break. Let's check out last week's results! Advertisement Alma Girls The Cardinals competed in the Franklin Invite on Friday and had a solid outing, tying for 6th with 62 points. At 125 pounds, Abby Dubbs placed 4th to Khloe Pomplun of Doniphan-Trumbull by tech fall. Southwest made the trip to Elwood to play against the Hi-Line Bulls in a girls and boys doubleheader. In the girls game, Southwest used a lot of pressure to get an 80-48 win. Southwest started on an 8-0 run in the first 2:30 of the game. Hi-Line cut the lead down 8-4. But Southwest put its foot on the gas and got its offense going. This past week was a full one for RPAC Boys Basketball teams, as many had two or three games. Let's dive into the action from the previous week. Alma Alma had a full week with a trio of games. First, they played Axtell and won big, 90-14. The Cardinals had four players in double-figures as Zavier Mitchell had 18 points, Tucker Biksup had 15 on 6-6 shooting, Titus Epp was 5-5 with 12 points, Grady Faimon had 11 points, and Crew Bennett had 10.
