The basketball season has begun. All of the RPAC squads started the year, and a number of them will play in the Cattle Trail Tournament the week in McCook. The winter sports season began on Thursday, and teams jumped right into their schedules. Check out the blog to see how things shook out on the opening weekend of the winter sports season. Tigers Win Take Home Victories on Friday Against Cambridge
On Friday evening, Cambridge hosted Dundy County Stratton in the early stages of the basketball season. DCS came away with a sweep, winning both the girls and boys games. In the girls matchup, the Tigers won by a final of 40-25. In the opening period, the Tigers took a narrow lead, 14-10.
