Bertrand played host to Maywood-Hayes Center in the regular season finale on Friday night. MHC was 0-7 coming into the game, and Bertrand was 3-4. MHC took the victory by a final score of 32-30. Bertrand started fast with a 55-yard kickoff return by Thunder Nelson. It was 6-0 just 12 seconds in. Wallace hit the road to play Wauneta-Palisade on Friday for a battle on the football field. The Wildcats were able to capture the win with a final score of 60-20. Wallace got the game started with a 43-yard touchdown run from Asthin Johns to make it 6-0 just 10 seconds into the game.
