Alma @ Hastings St. Cecilia
The Cardinals of Alma looked to bounce back after last week's loss, and they did. Alma took down Hastings St. Cecilia 64-40. Alma's Drew Lewis was dominant, 13-for-17 passing with 293 yards and five touchdowns. Mile Ford had 72 yards rushing and a couple of scores. Lewis added two rushing touchdowns too.
Josh Russell was the leading receiver with 102 yards and two touchdowns. Banks Hammond led the defense with 11 tackles. Hammond and Crew Bennett each had an interception.
Alma moves to 2-1 and will face Thayer Central at home on Friday.
