It was another full week of football for the RPAC. Before we get into the blog, let's check out the Weekly Scoreboard brought to you by MNB Realty.
Hitchcock County @ Alma
Hitchcock County went to Alma in Week 2 of the season. The Falcons won 36-20. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, so you can read the full recap here.

Arapahoe @ Shelton
The Warriors played Shelton and bounced back in a big way, winning 42-14. Arapahoe is now 1-1 and will play Hitchcock County on Thursday which will be an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.
Hi-Line @ Bertrand
Hi-Line and Bertrand battled on Friday night and it was the Vikings winning, 52-0. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, so you can read the full recap here.

Cambridge @ Sutherland
The Trojans made the long trek to Sutherland on Friday to play the Sailors. The Trojans won, 57-12. Cambridge took little time getting ahead as they led 28-0 at the end of the first quarter. Cambridge posted another 21 points in the second quarter, going up 49-6 at halftime.
From there, they coasted to victory.
Braxton Mitchell was 8-10 passing with 86 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Cambridge had 242 yards rushing. Mitchell had 73 yards and two touchdowns and Devan Rodriguez had 75 yards and three touchdowns. Receiving, Roy Hoelscher had 56 yards and a score. Connor Long had a receiving touchdown.
On defense, Hoelscher had nine tackles, and so did Angel Torres.
Jack Wallace led the rushing attack for Sutherland with 87 yards and a touchdown. He also recorded 10 tackles.
Suthrlnd falls to 0-3 and will play Mullen on the road on Friday. Cambridge is 2-0 and will host Dundy County Stratton on Friday which is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.
Southern Valley @ Maywood-Hayes Center
The Southern Valley Eagles went to Maywood-Hayes Center on Friday night. It was a close game, but Southern Valley won, 16-12. At the time of writing this, stats were not available.
The Eagles are 2-0 and will host Maxwell on Friday. The Wolves, are now 1-1 and will play at home versus Wauneta-Palisade.

Medicine Valley @ Silver Lake
The Raiders went to Silver Lake on Friday and played well again. Medicine Valley won by a final score of 79-33. The Raiders scored 45 points in the first half, and then 34 in the second half, so that offense was rolling.
The ground game was the key for Medicine Valley as they totaled 406 yards. Mason Roblee had 267 yards and seven touchdowns. Payton Newcomb added 78 yards and two touchdowns as well.
On defense, Roblee had 11 tackles, and Ethan BRown had seven.
The Raiders are now 2-0 and will have a bye this week before playing South Platte on September 18th.
Minatare @ Paxton
The Paxton Tigers hosted Minatare this week and improved to 2-0. They won by a final score of 54-6. At the time of writing this, stats were not available.
Paxton will face South Platte on the road on Friday.

Southwest @ Red Cloud
The Roughriders had a rematch from their semifinal game last year in the Class D6 playoffs. Southwest took care of business again, winning 51-20. After the first quarter, it was 14-8 in favor of Southwest. Then they extended the lead, and at the intermission it was 33-14. They closed out the game by outscoring Red Cloud 18-6.
The Roughriders rushed for 284 yards on 40 carries. Jacob Barber had 95 yards and three touchdowns; Deric Kelley added 90 yards, and Conner Waever had 70 yards on three carries. Myles Nelms added 15 yards and a touchdown.
On defense, the Roughriders had three players in double-digit tacklers: Gage Hammond with 11, Bo Truksa and Jacob Barber each had 10. Brody Hammond had three passes defended, and Dylan Cornwell had an interception. Jaxton had a fumble recovery.
Southwest is 2-0 and will play Garden County on Friday, whom they fell to in the Class D6 State Championship last year.

Wallace @ Hays Springs
The Wildcats improved their record with a 50-22 win over Hay Springs this week. Colt Franklin was 3-6 passing with 90 yards and three touchdowns and one interception. On the ground, the Wolves rushed for 267 yards. Tyson Sullivan had 95 yards and two scores, and Tobin Pelster recorded 97 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Micahe Garrison had 62 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
Wallace is now 2-0, and they have a bye before they face Garden County on 9/17.
Wauneta-Palisade @ Brady
The Broncos faced a solid Brady team on Friday and lost, 46-8. Kreyton Wiese had 69 yards and a touchdown. Bennet Wiese had 17 tackles and David Bryner totaled 10.
The Broncos are 2-1 and will face Maywood-Hayes Center on the road this week.
