RPAC Golf Results as of 5/5


The golf season continues to roll on. We are entering the final week of the regular season and teams are hoping to build steam heading towards districts next week. Let's dive into last week's results and see how RPAC Schools did.


Hitchcock County Invite 4/30 at Heritage Hills in McCook


A total of six RPAC teams competed at the Hitchcock County Invite on Tuesday last week.

Hitchcock County


Another invite, another team title for Hitchcock County. And I'm sure winning it at home is that much sweeter with a 338. Jack Baker shot another 77 for 1st, Brayden Melchert with an 84 for 3rd place, Darin Neben an 87 for 5th, Ashton Parker-Johnson with a 90 for 6th, and then Mason Schilke a 92 to finish 8th.





Alma


The Cardinals had a nice invite shooting a 402 as a team, good enough for 3rd. The Cardinals were paced by William VanBoening as he finished 11th with a 94. Crew Bennett was solid too with a 98 finishing 13th.

Southwest


The Roughriders had a paid of individuals place en route to their 4th place finish. Houston Billeter placed 7th with a 91 and Colton Sedlacek placed 9th with a 93 for the Roughriders.

DCS


Dundy County Stratton finished 5th with a 412. Dante Horner was solid with a 4th place finish and shot an 87. Brodie Rogers shot a 101 and finished 17th.


Medicine Valley


The Raiders shot a 580 which placed them 7th as a team. Tyce Pate kept his consistent play shooting a 96 which placed him 12th.


Maywood-Hayes Center


The Wolves competed with a trio of golfers on the day, so no team score was taken. Hunter Koetter led the Wolves with a 120, which put him 30th. Landon Littrel shot a 125 and finished 31st, and Tyler Stewart had a 127 and finished 33rd.


Knipping Invite 5/2 Cardinal Country Club


Southern Valley hosted the Knipping Invite in Oxford on Thursday last week and won the team title. Also in attendance for RPAC schools were Arapahoe, Alma, and Bertrand.

Southern Valley


The Eagles had a great day placing 1st with a 356. Braxton Hammond took home the individual title with an 85, Kamden Bose finished 2nd with an 86, Jace Hammond took 6th with a 90, and Gage Booe took home 10th with a 95.







Bertrand


The Vikings had three golfers place and finished 4th as a team with a 382. Scottie Bieker placed 3rd with an 87, Quinten Mumm took 13th with a 97, and Payton Way finished 14th with a 98.


Alma


The young Cardinals had another strong outing placing 3rd with a 380. Crew Bennett took home 4th with an 88, William VanBoening finished 11th with a 96, Titus Epp finished 12th with a 97, and then Grady Faimon placed 15th with a 99.


Arapahoe


The Warriors placed 2nd as a team, with a solid 376. Chris Hermes was great with a 5th place finish and an 89, Briggs Hill took 7th with a 90, and Rafe Hill placed 9th with a 93.


NPSP Invite at Rivers Edge Golf Course on 5/2


North Platte St. Pat's hosted their invite on Thursday at Rivers Edge Golf Course. With the results provided, we have the top three teams, and ten individual medals were given. RPAC Schools in attendance included; Hitchcock County, Maywood-Hayes Center, Paxton, Wallace, and Cambridge.

Hitchcock County


The Falcons golfed well again, this time at North Platte with a 354. Jack Baker took the individual title with an 83, and Ashton Parker-Johnson finished 5th with an 87.


Cambridge


The Trojans shot a 396. Micah Gerlach was locked in, taking 4th place with an 83. Maverick Webb shot a solid 94 on the day.


Paxton


The Tigers shot a 442 and were led by Ethan Hardin. Hadrin took the final placing spot with an 89. He has played well all season long for Paxton.





Maywood-Hayes Center


MHC didn't have enough golfers to qualify for a team score. But, they were led by Hunter Koetter with a 117.


Wallace


The Wildcats had three golfers compete, therefore not enough to get a team score. Tyson Sullivan had an excellent day, just outside of placing with a 90. Micah Garrison shot a 110.
