RPAC Rundown Football Results as of 10/12, Week 7

We have gotten through seven weeks of the football season. We have some teams who are working on improving their potential playoff seeding and we have others that are trying to keep playoff hopes alive. Let's check out the results from this past week.

Reminder, here are the District Assignments for RPAC Football Teams
D1-9: Dundy County Stratton, Alma, Hi-Line, Southern Valley, and Arapahoe
D1-10: Sutherland
D2-8: Bertrand, Cambridge, Hitchcock County, and Maywood-Hayes Center
D2-9: Maxwell
D6-4 Paxton, Medicine Valley, Southwest, Wallace, and Wanuneta-Palisade
Dundy County Stratton @ Alma
Dundy County Stratton made the trip to Alma on Friday to play the Cardinals. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, so you can read the full recap here.
Arapahoe @ Hi-Line
Arapahoe went to Hi-Line and got a win on Friday night in a close one, 20-14. Arapahoe led 6-0 after the first. Hi-Line scored in the second, but so did Arapahoe, and it was 14-6 at halftime. Arapahoe led heading to the fourth too, 20-6. Hi-Line scored but couldn't complete the comeback.
Brody Deifenbaugh was 13-21 with 135 yards and a touchdown. He also had 31 yards rushing and a score. Chase Beitler had 49 yards rushing. Grady Schutz had four catches for 42 yards, and Parker Schutz had four catches for 61 yards and a score.
Ethan Oberg had 10 tackles, Karter Tilson had a sack. Hi-Line is now 2-5, and Arapahoe is 2-5 too. Arapahoe will host North Platte St. Pat's on Friday. Hi-Line will go to Alma on Friday.
Bertrand @ Loomis
Bertrand had a rivalry matchup on the road on Friday against Loomis. The Vikings dropped the game, 60-28. Jace Schukar had a big game for Loomis with 251 yards rushing and five touchdowns.
Bertrand is 3-4, and will host Maywood-Hayes Center on Friday, which is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.
Overton @ Cambridge
Cambridge hosted Overton in an important D2-8 District game. Overton was able to take down Cambridge by a final score of 33-24. For Cambridge, Micah Gerlach had 151 yards passing and a touchdown. He also had 149 yards rushing and a score. Brady Ahlemeyer had 107 yards receiving and a touchdown.
On defense, Gerlach had 24 tackles and a pick-6, Colton Perks had 15 tackles, Ben Harris, and Braydon Miller each had 11 tackles. Cambridge is now 5-2 and will host Hitchcock County at home on Thursday. That will be an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.
Hitchcock County @ Maywood-Hayes Center
Hitchcock County went to Hayes Center on Friday and played MHC. The Falcons won by a final of 54-6. They led 40-0 in the first half and never looked back. MHC falls to 0-7 and will be at Bertrand on Friday, which is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.
Hitchcock County is 7-0 and will be at Cambridge on Thursday. That will be an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.
Bayard @ Maxwell
Maxwell hosted Bayard on Friday evening and took care of business, winning 55-8. Jesse Reyes had 125 yards rushing and two touchdowns, Jahven Reyes had 60 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Dallas Hobbs had a rushing touchdown. As a team, they had 305 yards rushing.
Jesse Reyes had 50 yards passing and a score, and Tayton Phillips had 48 yards passing and a score. Jahven Reyes had 46 yards receiving and a touchdown, and Jagger Kleeweing had 48 yards and a touchdown, too.
Maxwell moves to 4-3 and will be at Brady on Friday.
Medicine Valley @ Wallace
Wallace hosted Medicine Valley and won 70-33. This was an RPAC Rundown Feattured Matchup, and you can read the full game story here.
SEM @ Paxton
Paxton hosted SEM on Friday and dropped the game 54-13. Paxton falls to 1-5 and will be at Medicine Valley on Friday.
Southern Valley @ North Platte St. Pat's
Southern Valley went to North Platte to face the Irish on Friday. Southern Valley lost the game by a final score of 67-22. The Eagles are now 0-7 and will go to Dundy County Stratton on Friday.
Wauneta-Palisade @ Southwest
It was a top-10 matchup in D6 in Bartley. And it was homecoming for the Roughriders. They took home the victory, 55-12. It was 8-6 after the first quarter, with the Roughriders ahead. Then, Southwest scored 28 points in the second quarter to lead 36-6. Then they scored 13 more in the third to lead 49-6. Both teams put points up in the final period.
For Wauneta-Palisade, Kreyton Wiese had 142 yards rushing and a touchdown, and David Bryner had 64 yards and a touchdown. Kameran McCrumb had six tackles.
For Southwest, Houston Billeter was 6-10 with 130 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Billeter had 63 yards rushing and a score. Bo Truksa had 62 yards and a score, Damario Koetter had a touchdown, Jacob Barber had 21 yards and a score. Deric Kelley had three catches for 88 yards and a touchdown, Gage Hammond had 22 yards and a toucdown, Braxten Hammond had 20 yards and a touchdown.
Gage Hammond had 17 tackles and Jacob Barber and Deric Kelley each had 13 tackles. Billter and Kelley each had an interception.
Wauneta-Palisade is now 4-2 and will play at home versus Wallace on Thursday. That is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup. Southwest is 6-0 and will face SEM at home on Friday.
Sutherland @ Kimball
Sutherland traveled to Kimball on Friday to face the Longhorns. Sutherland fell in this one, 53-26. Sutherland is 1-6 and will be at home versus Bridgeport on Friday.
