Where did the volleyball season go? We are already nearing the end as we approach subdistricts this week, and the RPAC Tournament concluded last week. Let's recap the week and include subdistrict pairings.

Alma
On Monday, Alma faced Arapahoe in a consolation match and lost, 2-1. The Cardinals took set one, 25-20, but Arapahoe took the next two sets, 25-21 and 25-21, to win the match. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
Alma finished the regular season with a 13-16 record. Alma is in the C2-9 subdistrict and is the #4 seed. The Cardinals will face #5 Superior at 5:00 P.M. CT at Centura.
Arapahoe
Arapahoe faced Alma in a consolation match on Monday and defeated the Cardinals, 2-1. Emma Strand had 17 kills; Taytum Roskop had eight kills and 10 digs; Clara Hilker had seven kills and 13 digs; Sawyer Shafer had three aces, six digs, and 31 assists; Ryleigh Tidyman had two blocks; Cydeny Carlson had three blocks; and Suttyn Shafer had 11 digs.
Arapahoe wraps up their regular season with a record of 16-9. The Warriors are the #3 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict. Arapahoe will face #2 Maywood-Hayes Center on Monday at 6:00 P.M. CT at Southwest.
Bertrand
The Vikings had the week off last week. They finished their regular season with a 4-23 record. Bertrand is in the D2-8 subdistrict and is the #3 seed. They will face #2 Franklin on Monday at 5:30 P.M. CT.
Cambridge
Cambridge started their week with the East Finals match against Southwest. The Trojans took the first two sets with set scores of 25-19 and 31-29, Southwest took the third set 25-20, and the Trojans closed out the match with a score of 25-19 to advance to the Championship match. Brooklyn Holtze had 23 kills, two aces, two blocks, 14 digs, and 22 assists; Joslyn Holtze had 14 kills and 17 digs; Mallory Springer had 13 kills, 19 digs, and 20 assists; Elisabeth Kubik had two aces and 14 digs; Annabelle Taylor had four aces, two blocks, and 10 digs; and Kolbryn Clason had two blocks and 11 digs.
On Tuesday, Cambridge advanced to the RPAC Championship match against Dundy County Stratton in a five-set thriller. DCS took set one 25-14, Cambridge took sets two and three with set scores of 26-24 and 25-23, DCS took set four 25-9, and Cambridge took the fifth set 15-8 to win the match, 3-2. Springer had 18 kills, 26 digs, and 19 assists; B. Holtze had 17 kills, two aces, 14 digs, and 18 assists; Clason had four aces, 10 digs, and five assists; Holtze had three blocks and 11 digs; Kubik had eight digs; and Taylor had nine digs.
Cambridge finished up their regular season as the RPAC Champion and a 23-7 record. Cambridge is in the D2-8 subdistrict, is the #1 seed, and will face #4 Wilcox-Hildreth at 7:00 P.M. CT on Monday at home.
Dundy County Stratton
The Tigers faced Maywood-Hayes Center in the West finals on Monday. DCS took the first set 25-14, MHC took the second set 25-21, and DCS took the third and fourth sets with set scores of 25-11 and 25-21. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
In Tuesday's RPAC Championship match against Cambridge, DCS took set one 25-14, Cambridge took sets two and three with set scores of 26-24 and 25-23, DCS took set four 25-9, and Cambridge took the fifth set 15-8. DCS finished up their regular season with a 23-6 record. The Tigers are in the D2-9 subdistrict. The Tigers are the #1 seed and will face the winner of #4 South Platte and #5 Wallace at 6:00 P.M. MT on Monday at home.
Hi-Line
The Bulls had a consolation match on Monday against Southern Valley. They were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-14 and 25-23. Lauryn Ruda had nine kills and sidx digs; Bristol Kubert had five kills and six digs; Rilee Schutz had 11 digs; Bentley Stubbs had six digs; Puper Puls had six digs; and Klaire Pohl had eight digs and 14 assists.
Hi-Line finished their regular season with a 10-18 record. The Bulls are the #4 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and will face #5 Medicine Valley at 4:30 P.M. CT on Monday at Southwest.
Hitchcock County
The Falcons had a consolation match on Monday against Maxwell, and they earned a 2-1 win. Maxwell took the first set with a score of 25-20, and the Falcons took the next two sets with scores of 25-21 and 25-19. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
The Falcons finished their regular season with a record of 11-20. Hitchcock County is the #3 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict and will face #2 Paxton at 4:30 P.M. MT on Monday at Dundy County Stratton.
Maxwell
Maxwell had a consolation match against Hitchcock County on Monday. Maxwell took the first set 25-20, and the Falcons took the next two sets 25-21 and 25-19, losing the match 2-1. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
The Wildcats finished their regular season with a 16-12 record. They are the #3 seed in the C2-7 subdistrict and will face #2 Ord at 6:00 P.M. CT on Monday at St. Paul.
Maywood-Hayes Center
The Wolves faced Dundy County Stratton on Monday in the West Finals. DCS took the first set 25-14, MHC took the second set 25-21, and DCS took the third and fourth sets with set scores of 25-11 and 25-21. Karissa Stengel had 12 kills, two aces, and 12 digs; Caylie Softley had 11 kills, two aces, and five digs; Blayklee Farr had two aces, two blocks, and six digs; Paytyn Stengel had three aces, five digs, and 17 assists; Jillian Johnson had two blocks; and Jaylee Sellers had five digs and seven assists.

Medicine Valley
Medicine Valley traveled to Sutherland on Thursday for a dual and earned the 3-1 win. The Raiders took the first set 30-28, lost the second set 25-23, and won the third and fourth sets with set scores of 25-20 and 25-21. The Raiders wrapped up their regular season with a win and finished 2-24, and are the #5 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict. They will face #4 Hi-Line at 4:30 P.M. CT at Southwest.
Paxton

Southern Valley
Southern Valley had a consolation match on Monday against Hi-Line and earned a 2-0 sweep, 25-14 and 25-23. Tori Bose had 11 kills, two aces, two blocks, and seven digs; Paisley Hammond had three aces; Lauren Quinn had seven digs; and Emercen Lovitt had five digs and 16 assists.
Southern Valley hosted Wilcox-Hildreth and earned a 3-2 win. The Falcons took the first set 25-22, the Eagles took the second set 25-13, the Falcons took the third set 25-16, and Southern Valley took the fourth and fifth sets with set scores of 25-22 and 15-8. Southwest
On Monday, the Roughriders faced Cambridge in the East Semifinals. Southwest fell, 3-1; the Trojans took the first two sets with set scores of 25-19 and 31-29, Southwest took the third set 25-20, and the Trojans closed out the match with a score of 25-19. Kyra Nelms had 33 kills, four blocks, and 12 digs; Anikka Nelms had 17 kills, two blocks, and 22 digs; Caitlyn Adams had two blocks and 15 digs; Aspen Billeter had two blocks, 13 digs, and 45 assists; and Bellamie Stritt had 19 digs.
In the RPAC Consolation match against Maywood-Hayes Center, the Roughriders earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-23. K. Nelms had 22 kills and four digs; A. Nelms had 21 kills, three aces, and 13 digs; Adams had five digs; Stritt had 11 digs; Billeter had nine digs and 36 assists; Alivia Cure had four digs; and Lacie Houser had four digs.
The Roughriders finished their regular season with a 25-5 record. They are the #1 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and will face the winner of #4 Hi-Line and #5 Medicine Valley on Monday at 7:30 P.M. CT at home.
Sutherland
Sutherland finished their run in the RPAC Tournament but had one regular-season match at home on Thursday against Medicine Valley. The Sailors dropped set one, 30-28, won the second set 25-23, and lost the third and fourth sets with set scores of 25-20 and 25-21, losing the match, 3-1. Sutherland finished the regular season with a 6-22 record. The Sailors are the #3 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and will face #2 Wauneta-Palisade on Monday at Wauneta-Palisade at 5:30 P.M. MT.
Wallace
Wallace had the week off. They finished their regular season with a 7-20 record. The Wildcats are the #5 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict and will play #4 South Platte at 3:00 P.M. MT at Dundy County Stratton on Monday.
Wauneta-Palisade
The Broncos had a consolation match on Monday against Paxton and earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18 and 25-21. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
On Thursday, Wauenta-Palisade hosted Arthur County and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, and 25-13. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
The Broncos finished the regular season with a record of 18-11. They are the #2 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and will host #3 Sutherland on Monday at 5:30 P.M. CT.
