Alma
The Cardinals hosted a triangular on Tuesday with Wilcox-Hildreth and Northern Valley, KS.
In their match with the Falcons, it took three sets to find a winner and it was tight for the first two sets as Wilcox-Hildreth took set one 25-23 and Alma took set two 29-27. It was all the Cardinals in set three as they won the set 25-9 and the match, 2-1. Vayden Epp had 10 kills and four aces, Chayse Molzahn had 10 kills, two aces, and three blocks, and Tierston Moore had nine kills and eight digs. Miley Whitney had 15 digs and 31 assists.
Against Northern Valley, KS Alma got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-14 and 25-13. The Cardinals had 13 aces as a team with Moore and Whitney each posting six aces. Epp led the team with seven kills and Whitney added 18 assists.
On Thursday, Alma traveled to Elm Creek for a dual with the Buffaloes and after winning set one 25-20, Elm Creek took the next three sets 27-25, 25-16, and 25-16 to take the match 3-1. Moore led the team with 17 kills, three blocks, and 10 digs, Epp had 11 kills, Kamryn Scott had seven kills, and Kamri Neal added 11 digs, six kills, and three aces. Whitney had 15 digs and 30 assists while Mercedes Garner had 10 digs and 10 assists.
On Saturday Alma hit the road to attend the Hitchcock County tournament and had three matches against Wauneta-Palisade, Hitchcock County, and Arapahoe.
Against Wauneta-Palisade, the Cardinals took set one 25-20 and then dropped the next two sets 25-18 and 25-19 as well as the match, 2-1. Moore had 14 kills and 11 digs, Scott had four aces and 10 digs, Neal had 12 digs, and Whitney had 24 assists.
Against Hitchcock County, Alma was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-17 and 25-11. Moore had nine kills, Garner had 10 digs, and Whitney had 20 assists.
Alma took set one over Arapahoe 25-20, lost set two 25-21, and took set three 25-21 and the match 2-1. Moore had a huge match posting 18 kills, four blocks, and 13 digs. Whitney added 10 digs and 25 assists.
Alma is now 9-4 on the year and will travel to Cozad on Tuesday for a triangular with the Haymakers and Arapahoe, host Phillipsburg, KS on Thursday, and then travel to Superior on Saturday for a triangular with the Wildcats and Blue Hill.
Arapahoe
Arapahoe hosted a triangular on Tuesday with Maywood-Hayes Center and Loomis.
In their match with MHC, the Wolves took set one 25-23, the Warriors took set two 25-23, and MHC took the third set 25-20 and the match 2-1. Clara Hilker led the team with seven kills, Rylee Bahe had four aces and 15 digs, and Grace Andrews had 14 assists.
In their match with Loomis, the Wolves took set one 25-16, Arapahoe took set two 25-20, and Loomis took set three 25-23 and the match 2-1. Emma Strand led the team with 11 kills, Desi Farner had five aces, Bahe had 11 digs, and Andrews had 10 assists.
Arapahoe traveled to Brady for a dual on Thursday night and were swept 3-0 with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, and 25-23. Farner had eight kills and 18 digs, Hilker had three blocks, Bahe had 14 digs and 12 assists, Andrews had 13 digs, and Sage Larson had 11 digs.
On Saturday, the Warriors traveled to Hitchcock County for a tournament and had three matches throughout the day and played Maywood-Hayes Center, Axtell, and Alma.
Against MHC, Arapahoe was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 29-27. Farner led the team with 11 kills and 10 digs and Strand added 10 kills. Bahe had a team-high 15 digs and also had 11 assists.
Axtell swept Arapahoe 2-0 with set scores of 25-19 and 27-25. Bahe and Strand each had five kills in the match. Bahe and Hilker each had three aces, Farner had 13 digs, Suttyn Shafer had 13 digs, and Lararson had 12 digs. Andrews had 10 assists in the match.
Against Alma, the Cardinals took set one 25-20, the Warriors took set two 25-21, and Alma took the final set 25-21 and the match 2-1. Farner had nine kills and 13 digs, Andrews had three aces, 14 assists, and nine digs, Larson had 11 digs, and Bahe added 11 assists.
Arapahoe is 3-7 on the year and will travel to Cozad on Tuesday for a triangular with the Haymakers and Alma and host a triangular on Thursday with Southern Valley and Bertrand.
Bertrand
The Vikings traveled to Medicine Valley on Tuesday for a dual with the Raiders and came home with the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-17, 25-6, and 25-13. Bertrand posted 20 aces as a team with Gracie Hock having six aces, Katelyn Evans having five aces, and Brooklyn Evans having four aces. B. Evans had 13 kills and 13 digs and Addison Andersen had 32 assists.
On Thursday, Bertrand traveled to Hi-Line for a triangular with the Bulls and Cozad.
In their match with Cozad, the Vikings took set one 28-26, dropped set two 26-24, and took set three 25-19 and the match, 2-1. K. Evans and B. Evans both tallied 12 kills in the match. Shelby Schoene posted four blocks, K. Evans added 19 digs, K. Evans and Livia Philips each had 11 digs, and Andersen had 11 digs and 32 assists in the match.
In their match with Hi-Line, Bertrand got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18 and 25-20. The Vikings had 12 aces in the match with K. Evans having five aces and Andersen having four aces. K. Evans posted eight kills and 10 digs, B. Evans posted eight kills and eight digs, and Andersen added 24 assists.
The Vikings traveled to Loomis on Saturday for a tournament where they had three matches and faced Maxwell, Hapmton, and Franklin.
Against Maxwell, Bertrand dropped set one 25-18, won set two 25-23, and then fell in the third set 25-21 and the match, 2-1. B. Evans had 11 kills and Hock added seven kills. Schoene and B. Evans each had three aces while the team totaled. eight aces. Andersen had 13 digs and 27 assists, and Philips and B. Evans each totaled 13 digs as well.
Hampton took set one from Bertrand 25-20 but the Vikings responded and took the next two sets with scores of 25-20 and 25-22 to take the match 2-1. B. Evans had 17 kills and 14 digs, Schoene had four aces and 10 digs, and Andersen had three aces and 34 assists.
Against Franklin, the Flyers took set one 25-18, Bertrand took set two 25-12, and Franklin took set three 25-18, and the match, 2-1. K. Evans had 11 kills, three aces, and 10 digs. B. Evans had 17 digs, Philips had 14 digs, Hock had 14 digs, Schoene had 13 digs, and Andersen had 15 digs and 25 assists.
Bertrand is now 6-4 on the year and will host a triangular on Tuesday with South Loup and Brady and then travel to Arapahoe on Thursday for a triangular with Southern Valley and the Warriors.
Cambridge
Cambridge traveled to North Platte St. Pat's on Tuesday for a triangular with the Irish and Dundy County Stratton.
In their match with the Irish, Cambridge was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 25-22. Brooklyn Holtze had nine kills, Mallory Springer had nine kills, and Emmerie Tomlin had 13 assists.
Against the Tigers, Cambridge got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-17 and 25-13. Holtze posted 13 kills in the match, Springer had 11 assists, and Tomlin had 10 assists.
On Thursday, Overton came to town and swept Cambridge 3-0 with set scores of 25-21, 25-11, and 25-11. Holtze led the team with seven kills. Springer and Holtze each had three blocks while Holtze posted 15 digs, Springer posted 14 digs, Joslyn Holtze and Elisabeth Kubik each had 13 digs, and Chloe Gooden had 10 digs. Springer added 16 assists.
Cambridge is 6-6 on the season and will host Loomis on Tuesday and travel to McCook on Saturday for a tournament.
Dundy County Stratton
DCS traveled to North Platte St. Pat's for a triangular on Tuesday with the Irish and Cambridge.
In their match against NPSP, the Tigers took set one 25-19 and then dropped the next two sets 25-16 and 25-20 and the match 2-1. Clara Spargo had seven kills and Abi Spargo had six kills in the match. Ava Lutz and Emily Schack each had three aces. A. Spargo had five blocks and Laynee Lutz added three blocks. Lexie Yrkoski had 11 digs and A. Lutz had 10 digs. L. Lutz had 16 assists.
Against Cambridge, the Tigers were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-17 and 25-13. Schack led the team with seven kills, C. Spargo had six digs and six assists, A. Lutz had six digs, and L. Lutz had six assists.
On Thursday, Dundy County Stratton hosted Medicine Valley and won 3-0 with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-23.
The Tigers improve to 3-5 and will travel to Cheylin-Bird City, KS on Thursday and will also travel to North Platte for the NPCC Tournament on Saturday.
Hi-Line
Hi-Line hosted Southwest on Tuesday for a dual and was swept 3-0 with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, and 25-14. Lauryn Ruda had three kills and Ellaray Koch had three kills, 12 digs, and seven assists.
The Bulls hosted a triangular with Bertrand and Cozad.
In their match against Bertrand, Hi-Line was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-18 and 25-20. Malia Viter had four kills, Koch had four aces and eight assists, and Rilee Schutz had seven digs.
Against Cozad, Hi-Line was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-16 and 25-19. Ruda had three kills, Bentley Stubbs had 10 digs, and Koch had nine assists.
At the Loomis tournament on Saturday, the Bulls had three matches against Silver Lake, Franklin, and Hampton.
Against Silver Lake, the Bulls were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-20 and 25-17.
In their match with Franklin, it was tight but Hi-Line came up short as they were swept 25-22 and 25-23.
In their final match of the day, the Bulls faced Hampton and came away with the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-23 and 25-17.
Hi-Line is 4-7 on the season and will travel to Loomis on Thursday for a triangular with the Wolves and Axtell and to North Platte on Saturday for the NPCC Tournament.
Hitchcock County
The Falcons traveled to Perkins County on Tuesday for a triangular with the Plainsmen and Wallace.
Against Perkins County, Hitchcock County was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 25-18. Madysen Carlson had four kills, Kaiah Johnson had three blocks, Riley Hagan had nine digs, and Jill McArthur and Jayda Wood each had seven assists.
In their match with Wallace, the Falcons were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 25-22. Carlson had seven kills, Hagan had 13 digs, and McArthur had seven assists.
Hitchcock County hosted their home tournament on Saturday and played three matches with Alma, Wauneta-Palisade, and Axtell.
Hitchcock County got the 2-0 sweep against Alma with set scores of 25-17 and 25-11. Johnson had six kills, Hagan had 15 digs, and McArthur had 10 digs and 10 assists.
Against Wauneta-Palisade, the Falcons were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-17 and 25-20. Asia Homa had eight kills and 11 digs and McArthur had 11 assists while Reese Tines added seven assists.
In their match with Axtell, Hitchcock County was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-19 and 25-21. Carlson had six kills, Hagan had 14 digs, McArthur had 12 digs and eight assists, and Tines had eight assists.
Hitchcock County is now 2-8 on the season and will host Medicine Valley on Thursday.
Maxwell

Maxwell traveled to Loomis on Saturday for a tournament and came home as champions. They played three matches against Bertrand, Wallace, and Loomis.
Against Bertrand, Maxwell took set one 25-18, Bertrand took set two 25-23, and Maxwell took set three 25-21, and the match, 2-1. Jenna Miller and Kristyn Cheek each had eight kills while Victoria Quick had six kills. Ellys Gosnell had three aces in the match. Kylee Wyman had 12 digs and Emory Christensen posted 10 digs and 21 assists.
Against Wallace, Maxwell took set one 25-15, Wallace took set two 25-23, and Maxwell took the final set 26-24 and the match 2-1. Cheek had 13 kills and Quick had 11 kills in the match. Wyman had 16 digs and Christensen had 15 digs and 27 assists.
In the championship game against Loomis, the Wildcats took care of business sweeping the Wolves 2-0 with set scores of 25-21 and 25-23. Cheek had eight kills and Quick had seven kills. Christensen posted four aces, seven digs, and 18 assists. Wyman added 18 digs.
Maxwell improves to 6-3 on the year and will travel to Overton on Tuesday, host Brady on Thursday, and travel to North Platte on Saturday for the NPCC tournament.
Maywood-Hayes Center
The Wolves traveled to Arapahoe on Tuesday for a triangular with the Warriors and Loomis.
In their match with Arapahoe, MHC took set one 25-23, dropped set two 25-23, and took set three 25-20 and the match 2-1.
Against Loomis, MHC dropped set one 25-22 and won the next two sets 25-23 and 25-19 to win the match, 2-1.

On Tuesday the Raiders hosted Bertrand and were swept 3-0 with set scores of 25-17, 25-6, and 25-13. Remmi Stout led the team with three kills, Haylie Gustafson had eight digs, and Kamree Elsten had five assists.
On Thursday, Medicine Valley traveled to Dundy County Stratton and was swept by the Tigers 3-0 with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-23. Stout posted 13 kills in the match, Elsten had three aces, Oakley Stout and TeeJay Hilderbrandt had nine digs each, and Gustafson had eight assists.
On Saturday they traveled to Callaway for the Seven Valleys Tournament where they played three matches against South Loup, Ansley-Litchfield, and Mullen.
In their match against South Loup, the Raiders got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-20 and 25-21. R. Stout led the team with eight kills and seven digs while Gustafson and Elstem had four assists each.
Against Ansley-Litchfield, the Raiders were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-17 and 25-7. R. Stout had four kills, O. Stout had six digs, and Hilderbrandt had six digs.
Mullen swept Medicine Valley 2-0 with set scores of 25-15 and 25-20. Gustafson had two kills to lead the team, O. Stout had six digs, and Hilderbrandt had two assists.
Medicine Valley is now 1-7 on the season and will travel to Creek Valley on Monday, host Sandhills/Thedford on Tuesday, and travel to Hitchcock County on Thursday.
Paxton
Paxton hosted Brady on Tuesday last week and were swept 3-0 by the Eagles with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, and 25-19. Jakcee Mitchell posted 10 kills and Emmalee Nicholson added seven kills. The Tigers picked up 80 digs in the match with Jaleigh Hanson posting 16 digs, Madison Hansen had 14 digs, Nicholson had 14 digs, Mitchell had 11 digs, Hadleigh Kramer had 10 digs, and Reece Glinn had 10 digs. M. Hansen added 13 assists.
On Thursday the Tigers traveled to Garden County for a triangular with the Eagles and Minatare.
Against Minatare, Paxton got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-20 and 25-16. Mitchell posted nine kills in the match and M. Hansen had nine digs and 18 assists.
Against Garden County, Paxton was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-18 and 25-13. Mitchell had four kills and M. Hansen had seven digs and seven assists.
On Saturday, Paxton traveled to Callaway for the Seven Valleys Tournament where they had three matches and played Sandhills/Thedford, Mullen, and South Loup.
Against Sandhills/Thedford, Paxton got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-22 and 25-20.
The Tigers fell to Mullen in two sets with set scores of 25-21 and 25-18.
Paxton swept South Loup 2-0 with set scores of 25-22 and 25-9. Nicholson had seven kills and five digs, Sarah Brott had four aces, and M. Hansen had five digs and 16 assists.
Paxton is 4-7 on the year and will travel to South Platte on Tuesday for a triangular with the Bobcats and Perkins County and to North Platte on Saturday for the NPCC tournament.
Southern Valley
The Eagles had a full week as they hosted triangulars on Tuesday and Thursday and then traveled to Elm Creek on Saturday for a tournament.
At Tuesday's triangular, Southern Valley hosted Franklin and Elm Creek. Against Franklin, the Eagles got the 2-0 win with set scores of 25-22 and 25-17. Against Elm Creek, it was another 2-0 win with set scores of 25-23 and 25-23.
At Thursday's triangular, the Eagles hosted Sutherland and Southwest. Southern Valley defeated Sutherland 2-0 with set scores of 25-20 and 25-19. Southwest swept the Eagles 2-0 with set scores of 25-15 and 25-22.
At the Elm Creek tournament on Saturday, Southern Valley had three matches and played Pleasanton, Wood River, and Elm Creek.
Against Pleasanton, Southern Valley was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-13 and 25-22. The Eagles defeated Wood River 2-0 with set scores of 25-19 and 25-14. Southern Valley also got another win over Elm Creek with a 2-0 sweep.
Southern Valley is 7-3 on the year and will travel to Arapahoe on Thursday for a triangular with Bertrand and Arapahoe and then travel to Pleasanton on Saturday for a tournament.
Southwest
The Roughriders hosted Hi-Line on Tuesday for a dual and came away with the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, and 25-14. Kyra Nelms had 14 kills, Annika Nelms had seven kills, and Atleigh Nelms had seven kills. Southwest had 14 total aces and Allison VanPelt and Payton Truksa each had four aces. K. Nelms added four blocks, Anastasia Gallegos had 11 digs, Truksa had nine digs, and Aspen Billeter had 30 assists.
On Thursday Southwest traveled to Southern Valley for a triangular with the Eagles and Sutherland.
Against Southern Valley, Southwest earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-15 and 25-22. K. Nelms had 11 kills and Atleigh Nelms had seven kills. Anikka Nelms had six blocks, Gallegos had 10 digs, and Billeter had 23 assists.
Against Sutherland, the Roughriders got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-8 and 25-11. K. Nelms had 10 kills and Atleigh Nelms had eight kills. Billeter had three aces and 24 assists while K. Nelms had four blocks and VanPelt had nine digs.
Southwest remains unbeaten with a record of 9-0 and will travel to Wauneta-Palisade on Tuesday and then attend the McCook tournament on Saturday.
Sutherland
The Sailors traveled to Southern Valley on Thursday for a triangular with the Eagles and Southwest.
Against Southern Valley, Sutherland was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-20 and 25-19. Mahala Vasquez led the team with three kills, Fallyn Eldfeldt had 15 digs, and Grancyn Elfeldt had five assists.
Against Southwest, Sutherland was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-8 and 25-11. F. Elfeldt, Reese Erbert, and Vasquez each had two kills to lead the team. F. Elfeldt had 10 digs and G. Elfeldt had five assists.
On Saturday the Sailors traveled to Elm Creek for a tournament where they had three matches against Amherst, SEM, and Wood River.
Amherst got the 2-0 win over Sutherland with set scores of 25-13 and 25-17. Vasquez posted six kills and seven digs, F. Elfeldt had three aces and seven digs, and G. Elfeldt had 13 assists.
The Sailors fell to SEM in two sets with set scores of 25-12 and 25-20. Vasquez had seven kills and G. Elfeldt had 12 digs and eight assists.
Against Wood River, Sutherland fell 2-0 with set scores of 25-17 and 25-19. G. Elfeldt and Erbert each had four kills, F. Elfeldt had 18 digs, Payten Weber had 10 digs, and G. Elfeldt had nine assists.
Sutherland is now 2-7 on the season and will host a triangular with Wallace and Mullen on Tuesday, travel to Kimball on Thursday for a dual, and travel to North Platte on Saturday for the NPCC tournament.
Wallace
Wallace traveled to Perkins County on Tuesday for a triangular.
Against Perkins County, Wallace took set one with a score of 25-23 and then lost the next two sets 25-12 and 25-22 to fall in the match, 2-1. Reagan Finley had 10 kills and 11 digs, Mallory McConnell had 10 digs, and Kaley Sauser had 20 assists.
Against Hitchcock County, the Wildcats got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-23 and 25-22. Finley had 11 kills and 11 digs, Mariana Aceves-Lopez had 13 digs, McConnell had 11 digs, Devin Giesselmann had 11 digs, and Sauser had 15 assists.
Wallace traveled to Loomis for a tournament on Saturday and had three matches with Hampton, Maxwell, and Silver Lake.
Against Hampton, Wallace got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18 and 25-17. Maddison Gartrell had six kills in the match, Giesselmann had 12 digs, and Sauser had 10 digs and 17 assists.
It took all three sets against Maxwell but Wallace came up short as they lost set one 25-15, won set two 25-23, and fell in set three 26-24 and the match 2-1. Finley had 15 kills and 13 digs, McConnell had eight kills and three blocks, and Sauser had 10 digs and 28 assists.
Wallace was swept by Silver Lake 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 25-17. Finley had five kills, Aceves-Lopez had 10 digs, and Sauser had nine digs and nine assists.
Wallace is now 8-3 on the year and will travel to Sutherland on Tuesday for a triangular with the Sailors and Mullen.
Wauneta-Palisade
The Broncos hosted a triangular with Rawlins County, KS and St. Francis, KS on Thursday. Wauneta-Palisade defeated Rawlins County 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 27-25. The Broncos defeated St. Francis 2-1 after they dropped set one 25-20, Wauneta-Palisade took the next two sets 25-15 and 25-19.
On Saturday, Wauneta-Palisade traveled to Hitchcock County for a tournament where they played three matches against Alma, Maywood-Hayes Center, and Hitchcock County.
Against Alma, the Broncos dropped set one 25-20 and then took the next two sets 25-18 and 25-19 to take the match 2-1.
Against MHC, Wauneta-Palisade dropped set one 25-19, won set two 25-19, and then lost set three 25-23 and the match 2-1.
Wauneta-Palisade swept Hitchcock County 2-0 with set scores of 25-17 and 25-20.
The Broncos are now 3-7 on the year and will host Southwest on Tuesday and MHC on Thursday.
