RPAC Girls Basketball Results as of 3/8

The girls basketball season came to a close this past weekend. There were three RPAC teams competing at the state tournament: Maywood-Hayes Center and Arapahoe in Class D1 and Dundy County Stratton in D2.

Arapahoe
Arapahoe was the #8 seed in Class D1 and faced #1 Bloomfield in the first round. The Warriors fell to the Bees, 73-52.
The Warriors ended their season with a record of 21-6.

Dundy County Stratton
The Tigers were the #1 overall seed in D2 and faced #8 Loomis in the first round. The Tigers fought their way back against the Wolves to stay alive, winning 37-36.
In the semifinals, DCS faced #5 Archangels Catholic and won by a huge margin, 45-25.
In the championship game, the Tigers defeated #6 Wynot. DCS clinched its first state basketball championship with a 49-39 win.
Dundy County Stratton finished the year with a 28-1 record.

The Wolves finished the year with a record of 23-4.
