Wauneta-Palisade Boy's Basketball Squad Expects to be Competitive
For the Wauneta-Palisade Boy's Basketball team they are looking to continue building this season after a 6-18 year in 2022-2023. And will do so with a new head coach. Joesph Frecks, has been at Wauneta-Palisade for many years but this will be his first year as the head coach for the boy's program.
"We are really excited for this basketball season. This group of boys has been working extremely hard and are fun to coach. They have a strong desire to reach their potential as individuals and as a team, and will do what it takes to be a very competitive team this year," said Frecks.
The Broncos begin the season on Thursday, December 1st at Wallace.
Wauneta-Palisade Girl's Hoops Team Optimistic about 2022-2023
A wealth of experience. That's what the Broncos of Wauneta-Palisade returns for this basketball season and head coach Matt Cox says they feel good about the upcoming basketball season. "We’re optimistic about the season. We graduated one senior from a district runner-up finish a year ago. This is one of the most experienced starting lineups I’ve ever had, with some of these girls starting for 3 years for me. Our schedule is built to acquire a lot of power points, but it’ll be a challenge to perform at a high level every night."
Peyton Cox a junior, who averaged 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Cali Cox, a senior who averaged 13 points per game will lead the way for the Broncos.
