March 5th-March 11th

Boys

Alex Englot-Dundy County Stratton

Englot averaged 18 points during the NSAA Class D1 State Basketball Tournament. The Tigers finished 3rd.


February 26th-March 4th

Girls

Tori Bose- Southern Valley

Bose had 14 points on 7-10 shooting in their loss to GACC in the Class C2 State Basketball Tournament.

Boys

Isaiah Fox- Paxton

Fox had 25 points and seven rebounds in their 56-47 win over Stuart in teh D2-6 District Final.


February 19th-February 25th

Girls

Addison Neal- Alma

Neal had 26 points (six 3-pointers) in their loss to SEM in the D1-6 District Final.

Boys

Hadyn Farr- Maywood-Hayes Center

Farr had 20 points in their first round of the D1-10 subdistrict win over Elm Creek.


February 12th-February 18th

Girls

Jocelyn Cheek- Maxwell

Cheek has a solid subdistrict tournament as she posted 21 points and 10 rebounds in their 43-41 win over Hi-Line and in their 72-33 loss to Maywood-Hayes Center, she tallied 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Boys

Keegan Shuler- Hitchcock County

Shuler finished 2nd at state in Class D 195 pounds.



February 5th-February 11th

Girls

Lauren Moore- Arapahoe

Moore placed 5th at state bowling.


Boys

Blake Devitt- Hitchcock County

Devitt was the D4 district title winner in 113 pounds as well as being a 4x state qualifier.



January 29th-February 4th

Girls

Karlie Finely- Wallace

Finely averaged a double-double in their three wins with15 points and 13 rebounds.


Boys

Owen Kaps- Bertrand

Kaps had 25 points, eight rebounds, and four steals in their 57-55 win over the #1 team in Class D1, Maywood-Hayes Center.



January 22nd-January 28th

Girls

Peyton Cox- Wauneta-Palisade

Cox was a double-double machine during the RPAC Tournament as she averaged 17 points and 19 rebounds in the Broncos 4th place finish.


Boys

Hayden Kramer- Maywood-Hayes Center

Kramer averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds per game during the RPAC Tournament. The Wolves won the title for the first time since consolidating for sports.


January 15th-January 21st

Girls

Ann Bose- Southern Valley

Bose tallied 25 points in the Eagles 50-16 victory over Bertrand in the opening round of the RPAC Tournament.


Boys

Hitchcock County Wrestling Team

The Falcons won the RPAC Wrestling title for the first time in school history by scoring 140 points.



January 8th-January 14th

Girls

Madelyn Tryon- Southwest

Tryon was crowned the champion in 190 weight class at the Chase County Invite.


Boys

Jackson Kerchal- Dundy County Stratton

Kerchal was solid with 22 points and 10 rebounds in their 57-38 victory over Hitchcock County.



January 2nd-January 7th

Girls

Peyton Cox- Wauneta-Palisade

Cox had an incredibly impressive double-double intheir 56-53 victory over Hitchcock County as she posted 22 points and 20 rebounds.


Boys

Cyrrus Messersmith- Maxwell

In 160, Messersmith placed 1st over Ethan Graham of St. Francis by fall in 0:28 at the Dundy County Stratton Invite.



December 26th-January 1st

Girls

Berkley Warner- Arapahoe

Warner led the Warriors with 16 points, eight steals, and eight rebounds in their 60-54 loss to Wauneta-Palisade at the Arapahoe Holiday Tournament.


Boys

Keegan Shuler- Hitchcock County

Shuler placed 1st over Donovan Burns of Central Valley by fall in 1:08 in 195 at the Pleasanton Invite.



December 19th-24th

Girls

GraCee Goings- Wauneta-Palisade

Goings had a huge game as she posted 35 points and shot 46% from the field in their 63-29

win over Dundy County Stratton.


Boys

Tyler Cheek- Maxwell

Cheek was effective as he posted 25 points in their 63-49 win over Brady in Maxwell's Holiday Tournament.



December 12th-17th

Girls

Adi Hunt- Southern Valley

Hunt had a monster game in their 62-55 win over Superior as she posted 27 points, shooting 50% from the field, six rebounds, and three steals.


Boys

Micah Gerlach- Cambridge

Gerlach placed 1st in 106 as he defeated Gavin Patterson of Wilcox-Hildreth by fall in 1:15.


December 5th-10th

Girls

Jacelyn Jorgensen- Paxton

She had a double-double in their 52-32 win over Potter-Dix as she scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.


Boys

Carter Brandyberry- Alma

He took 1st place in 113 pounds at the Southern Valley Invite.



November 27th-December 3rd

Girls

Stella Heapy- Medicine Valley

Heapy posted 17 points against Southwest and 20 points against Paxton.


Boys

Hunter Cunningham- Southwest

In their 70-51 win over Medicine Valley, he put up 22 points.
