RPAC Girls Basketball Results as of 1/25

It was the calm before the storm as teams had a lighter week leading up to the RPAC Tournament, which kicked off on Friday. Check out all the results from last week.

Alma
On Tuesday, the Cardinals hosted Elm Creek and defeated the Buffaloes 51-40. Kamryn Scott had 19 points, five rebounds, and two steals; Kinely Ford had 16 points, six assists, and nine rebounds; Kamri Neal had seven points and three rebounds; Vayden Epp had five points, five rebounds, and two steals; and Tierston Moore had four points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
Alma improves to 16-1 and will face #4 Southwest in the East Quarterfinals on Monday at Southern Valley at 6:00 P.M. CT.
Arapahoe
Arapahoe hosted Axtell on Tuesday and ran away with the 68-28 win. Sawyer Shafer had 17 points, three rebounds, and two steals; Suttyn Shafer had 15 points, three rebounds, six assists, and five steals; Emma Strand had 14 points, seven rebounds, and two assists; Chloe Gooden had 13 points, three rebounds, and four steals; and Clara Hilker had 10 rebounds.
Arapahoe is 14-2 and advances to the East quarterfinals and will face #3 Cambridge on Monday at 7:30 P.M. CT at Southern Valley.
Bertrand
Bertrand traveled to Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday and lost to the Wolves, 67-27. Addison Andersen had 13 points, nine rebounds, and five steals, and Livia Philips had six points, three rebounds, three assists, and eight steals.
On Friday, the #6-seeded Vikings faced #3 Cambridge and lost to the Trojans 54-30 in the first round of the RPAC Tournament.
Bertrand is 5-12 and will face #7 Hi-Line on Monday in the consolation bracket at 4:30 P.M. CT at Southern Valley.
Cambridge
The Trojans traveled to Wauneta-Palisade on Tuesday and held off a late-game surge from the Broncos to win, 56-53. Mallory Springer had 21 points, 19 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks; Brooklyn Hotlze had 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals; and Aspen Webb had 11 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
On Friday, in the first round of the RPAC tournament, the #3 Trojans faced #6 Bertrand and won 54-30.
Cambridge improves to 12-3 and will face #2 Arapahoe in the East quarterfinals on Monday in Southern Valley at 7:30 P.M. CT.

Dundy County Stratton
DCS traveled to Wallace on Tuesday and defeated the Wildcats, 73-24. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup. You can read the full recap by clicking here.
In the first round of the RPAC Tournament on Friday, #1 DCS faced #8 Wallace again. This time, the Tigers defeated the Wildcats 64-17.
Hi-Line
On Tuesday, Hi-Line traveled to Overton and lost to the Eagles, 60-45. Bentley Stubbs had 22 points, 12 rebounds, and six steals; Whitney Wall had 11 points, four rebounds, and four steals; Dynastee Redden had six rebounds; Shelby Jurjens had seven rebounds; and Kara Brockman had 13 rebounds.
Hi-Line is 2-13 and will face #6 Bertrand on Monday at 4:30 P.M. CT at Southern Valley.
Hitchcock County
On Monday, the Falcons traveled to Cheylin, KS, and lost to the Cougars 60-51. Aspen Hazlitt had 20 points and seven steals; Madysen Carlson had 15 points and 14 rebounds; Kalissa Hagan had eight points, six rebounds, three assists, and five steals; and Asia Homma added seven rebounds and four steals.
Hitchcock County hosted Paxton on Tuesday and lost to the Tigers, 48-42. Hagan had 12 points; Carlson had 11 points and 18 rebounds; Raegan Hagan had 11 points; and Homma added nine rebounds.
In the first round of the RPAC tournament on Friday, #5 Hitchcock County lost to #4 Wauenta-Palisade 58-54.
The Falcons are 6-11 and will face #8 Wallace on Monday at 3:00 P.M. CT in Paxton.

Maxwell
On Tuesday, the Wildcats hosted Brady and lost to the Eagles 54-45. Kristyn Cheek had 14 points and six rebounds; Emory Christensen had 12 points and 14 rebounds; and Madelyn Flock had 12 points and four rebounds.
On Friday, in the first round of the RPAC tournament, #7 Maxwell faced #2 Maywood-Hayes Center. The Wildcats lost to the Wolves, 61-45.
Maxwell is 4-11 and will face #6 Sutherland at 4:30 P.M. CT at Paxton on Monday.
Maywood-Hayes Center
Maywood-Hayes Center hosted Bertrand on Monday and defeated the Vikings, 67-27. Caylie Softley had 25 points; Karissa Stengel had 15 points, six rebounds, five assists, and five steals; Carly Softley had 10 points and three steals; Blayklee Farr had seven points, four rebounds, seven assists, and nine steals; and Paytyn Stengel had nine rebounds.
The #2 Wolves faced #7 Maxwell and defeated the Wildcats, 61-45, in the first round of the RPAC Tournament on Friday.
The Wolves are 15-1 and will face #3 Paxton on Monday at 7:30 P.M. CT in Paxton.
Medicine Valley
Medicine Valley traveled to Sutherland on Tuesday and lost to the Sailors, 56-44. Oakly Stout had 23 points and four rebounds; Delany Evans had nine points and five rebounds; and Kenley Cole added seven rebounds.
In the first round of the RPAC Tournament on Friday, #8 Medicine Valley faced #1 Alma. The Raiders lost to Alma 79-22.
Medicine Valley is 2-13 and will face #5 Southern Valley on Monday in Southern Valley at 3:00 P.M. CT.

Paxton
Paxton traveled to Hitchcock County on Tuesday and defeated the Falcons, 48-42. Ella Fote had 14 points; Jaleigh Hansen had 11 points and five rebounds; Addison Holm had eight points and four rebounds; Reece Glinn had seven points and seven rebounds; Jackee Mitchell had 10 rebounds; and Marlee Gleason had eight rebounds.
Paxton is 11-4 and will face #2 Maywood-Hayes Center in the West quarterfinals on Monday at 7:30 P.M. CT at home.
Southern Valley
On Tuesday, the Eagles traveled to Shelton and lost to the Bulldogs, 43-21. Tori Bose had nine points and three rebounds, and Lauren Quinn had five points and three steals.
On Friday, Southern Valley was the #5 seed and faced #4 Southwest in the first round of the RPAC tournament. The Eagles lost, 41-24.
Southern Valley is 7-10 and will face #8 Medicine Valley on Monday at 3:00 P.M. CT at home.
Southwest
#4 Southwest faced #5 Southern Valley in the first round of the RPAC tournament on Friday. The Roughriders defeated the Eagles, 41-24.
Southwest is 9-6 and will face #1 Alma in the RPAC East Quarterfinals on Monday at 6:00 P.M. CT at Southern Valley.
Sutherland
Sutherland hosted Medicine Valley on Tuesday and defeated the Raiders, 56-44. Phoenix Brown had 31 points, 19 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks; Maleah Vasquez had six points; Bryer Brown had six points; and Eliana Dyer had five points.
Sutherland is 6-9 and will face #7 Maxwell on Monday at 4:30 P.M. CT at Paxton.

Wauneta-Palisade is 10-6 and will face #1 Maywood-Hayes Center in the West Quarterfinals at 7:30 P.M. CT in Paxton.
