RPAC Girls Basketball Results as of 2/15

The regular season is complete for the girls, and they are now transitioning to the subdistrict tournament. Check out the week's recap and the subdistrict information in the blog.

Alma


Alma traveled to Phillipsburg, KS, on Tuesday. The Cardinals started fast and kept the pressure on the Panthers, cruising to a 53-32 win. Vayden Epp had 21 points, five rebounds, and five steals; Kamryn Scott had 12 points, five assists, and five steals; Tierston Moore had 10 points, six rebounds, and four assists; Taylor Pool had six points and three rebounds; and Kamri Neal had four points and five rebounds.


In the Cardinals' final regular-season game, they traveled to Cambridge. It started as a close game, and then Alma found its groove, taking a 71-26 win. Scott had 30 points and five steals; Kinley Ford had 17 points, four assists, and eight steals; and Epp had 15 points, five assists, and three steals.


Alma finished the regular season with a 23-1 record. The Cardinals are the #1 seed in the C2-8 subdistrict and earned hosting rights. Alma will play the winner of #4 Wood River and #5 North Platte St. Pat's on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. CT.


Arapahoe


Arapahoe hosted Cambridge on Tuesday and held on for a 47-41 win. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup. You can read the full recap by clicking here.


The Warriors hosted Bertrand on Friday and earned a 55-26 win. Suttyn Shafer had 17 points and six steals; Sawyer Shafer had 12 points, five rebounds, and three steals; Chloe Gooden had eight points and six rebounds; Emma Strand had six points and six rebounds; and Ryleigh Tidyman had six points and eight rebounds.


Arapahoe finished the regular season with a 20-4 record. The Warriors are in the D1-11 subdistrict, which will be hosted by Maywood-Hayes Center in Maywood. Arapahoe is the #2 seed and will face #3 Southwest on Tuesday at 6:30 P.M. CT.


Bertrand


Bertrand traveled to Arapahoe on Friday and lost to the Warriors, 55-26. Addison Andersen had 11 points; Adrian Sand had nine points; Ashlynn Edgren had six rebounds; and Livia Philips had five rebounds.


Bertrand hosted Kenesaw on Saturday and lost to the Blue Devils, 45-39. Andersen had 17 points and five steals; Philips had seven points and seven rebounds; and Sand had six points.


The Vikings are 7-16 to end the regular season. Bertrand is the #3 seed in the D2-7 subdistrict. They will play #2 Franklin at 7:30 P.M. CT on Tuesday.


Cambridge


Cambridge traveled to Arapahoe on Tuesday and put up a fight, but came up short, falling to the Warriors, 47-41. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup. You can read the full recap by clicking here.


The Trojans hosted Alma on Friday and kept up with the Cardinals' fast pace for a while before falling behind and ultimately losing 71-26. Brooklyn Holtze had eight points; Joslyn Holtze had seven points and five rebounds; Elisabeth Kubik had five points and three rebounds; and Mallory Springer had nine rebounds.


Cambridge finished the regular season with a 16-6 record. The Trojans are the #2 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict hosted by Dundy County Stratton. They will face #3 Hitchcock County on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. MT.

Dundy County Stratton


Dundy County Stratton hosted North Platte St. Pat's on Tuesday and ran away with a 54-18 win. Abi Spargo had 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and four steals; Clara Spargo had 12 points; Emily Schack had 10 points; Kimberly Escobar had five points and six steals; and Lexie Yrkoski had five points, five rebounds, and six assists.


On Friday, the Tigers traveled to Southern Valley. Dundy County Stratton won 53-27. C. Spargo had 19 points and six rebounds; A. Spargo had 14 points, seven rebounds, and 10 steals; and Schack had 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals.


DCS finished the regular season with a 22-1 record. The Tigers earned the #1 seed and hosting rights for the D2-9 subdistrict. They will face the winner of #4 Medicine Valley and #5 Wallace on Tuesday at 4:30 P.M. MT.


Hi-Line


The Bulls hosted Elm Creek on Tuesday and lost to the Buffaloes, 75- 32. Bentley Stubbs had 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists; Olivia Wall had eight points, five rebounds, and two assists; Whitney Wall had seven points, six rebounds, and five assists; Dynastee Redden had seven rebounds; and Shelby Jurjens had seven rebounds.


Hi-Line traveled to South Loup on Friday and lost 53-43. W. Wall had 18 points, four rebounds, and four steals; Stubbs had nine points and seven rebounds; Redden had six points and six rebounds; and Jurjens had five points and eight rebounds.


Hi-Line wraps up the regular season with a record of. The Bulls are the #5 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict, which is hosted by Maywood-Hayes Center. Hi-Line will face #4 Southern Valley on Monday at 6:30 P.M. CT in Maywood.

Hitchcock County

Hitchcock County finished up with a record of 8-15 for the regular season. The Falcons are in the D2-9 subdistrict, hosted by Dundy County Stratton. They are the #3 seed and will face #2 Cambridge on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. MT.


Maxwell


Maxwell traveled to Sutherland on Tuesday to take on the Sailors, and they came away with the 50-30 win. Emory Christensen had 21 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and four steals; Kristyn Cheek had 15 points and six rebounds; and Madelynn Nelson had four points, eight rebounds, and four steals.


On Thursday, the Wildcats traveled to Medicine Valley and won, 56-21. Cheek had 24 points and nine rebounds; Madelyn Flock had 14 points, three assists, and three steals; and Christensen had seven points and six rebounds.


Maxwell finished their regular season with a 9-13 record. The Wildcats are in the C2-9 subdistrict, which is hosted by Sandy Creek. They are the #4 seed and will face #5 Gibbon on Monday at 5:00 P.M. CT.

Maywood-Hayes Center


On Tuesday, Maywood-Hayes Center hosted Wauneta-Palisade and defeated the Broncos, 55-30. Caylie Softley had 24 points, six rebounds, three assists, and five steals; Karissa Stengel had 10 points, seven rebounds, and five assists; Blayklee Farr had eight points, three rebounds, and four steals; Paytyn Stengel had seven rebounds; and Grace Loomis had six points.


On Friday, the Wolves traveled to Chase County and defeated the Longhorns, 71-35. Softley had 22 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists; Farr had 18 points and six rebounds; and Stengel had 17 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and four steals.


MHC ends the regular season with a 20-3 record. The Wolves have earned hosting rights for the D1-11 subdistrict. They are the #1 seed and will face the winner of #4 Southern Valley and #5 Hi-Line at 5:00 P.M. CT in Maywood on Tuesday.


Medicine Valley


On Thursday, Medicine Valley hosted Maxwell and lost to the Wildcats, 56-21. Kamree Elsten had seven points and four steals; Oakley Stout had five points and 12 rebounds; TeeJay Hildebrandt had four points and five rebounds; Kenley Cole had four points and four rebounds; and Jordiya Phillips had six rebounds.


On Friday, the Raiders traveled to Brady. Medicine Valley lost to the Eagles, 57-26. Stout had nine points and six rebounds; Gracie Johns had nine points and three rebounds; and Cole added six rebounds.


Medicine Valley finished their regular season with a 3-18 record. The Raiders are the #4 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict, which is hosted by Dundy County Stratton. They will face #5 Wallace at home on Monday at 6:00 P.M. CT.


Paxton


Paxton traveled to Hershey on Tuesday and lost to the Panthers, 62-48. Ella Fote had 16 points and four steals; Jaleigh Hansen had nine points and four steals; Reece Glinn had seven points and six rebounds; Marlee Gleason had six points and six rebounds; Natalie Jorgensen had five points; and Jakcee Mitchell had five points, seven rebounds, and three assists.


On Thursday, the Tigers defeated Sutherland at home, 59-30. Fote had 17 points, three rebounds, and three steals; Hansen had 13 points and three steals; Mitchell had eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals; Glinn had six points and seven rebounds; and Jorgensen had six points.


Paxton finished the regular season with a 15-6 record. The Tigers are the #1 seed in the D2-10 subdistrict and earned hosting rights. They will face the winner of #4 Arthur County and #5 Creek Valley on Tuesday at 5:00 P.M. MT.

Southern Valley


The Eagles had just one game this week and hosted Dundy County Stratton. They lost to the Tigers, 53-27. At the time of writing this blog, no stats have been uploaded. As soon as they are uploaded, we will update this blog.


Southern Valley finishes the regular season with a 10-12 record. Southern Valley is the #4 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict, which will be hosted by Maywood-Hayes Center in Maywood. The Eagles will face #5 on Monday at 6:30 P.M. CT.


Southwest


The Roughriders traveled to Wallace on Tuesday and defeated the Wildcats, 56-21. Aspen Billeter had 27 points, eight rebounds, three assists, five steals, and three blocks; Anikka Nelms had 18 points, five rebounds, three assists, and six steals; and Kassidy Vaughn had seven points, nine rebounds, and three assists.


On Friday, Southwest traveled to Axtell and defeated the Wildcats, 49-36. Billeter had 26 points and 22 rebounds; Nelms had 12 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks; and Vaughn had 11 points.


Southwest finished their regular season 11-10. They are the #3 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and will play #2 Arapahoe on Tuesday at 6:30 P.M. CT in Maywood.


Sutherland


Sutherland hosted Maxwell on Tuesday and lost to the Wildcats, 50-30. Phoenix Brown had 17 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals; Payten Weber had five points and three rebounds; Gracie Pearson had five rebounds, and Eliana Dyer had four rebounds.


On Thursday, the Sailors traveled to Paxton and lost 59-30. Brown had 12 points and 10 rebounds; Dyer had nine points and five rebounds; and Kate Dyer had five rebounds.


Sutherland is 6-15 to finish the regular season. The Sailors are the #4 seed in the D1-12 subdistrict and will face #1 Morrill at 5:00 P.M. MT at Morrill on Tuesday.

Wallace


On Tuesday, Wallace traveled to Southwest and lost to the Roughriders, 56-21. Kaley Sauser had 21 points; Elianna Robertson had nine rebounds; and Regan Martin had eight rebounds.
