While the volleyball season has come to an end for some teams, some have punched their ticket to the state tournament. Dive into the blog to see how the teams fared in district play.

Alma
The Cardinals were the #4 seed in the C2-9 subdistrict and faced #5 Superior on Monday. Alma earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, and 25-18. Tierston Moore had 12 kills, two aces, four blocks, and six digs; Halee Neubauer had seven kills, two blocks, and six digs; Kamryn Scott had six digs, 10 digs, and 17 assists; Vayden Epp had six kills, two aces, and eight digs; Kamri Neal had 15 digs; and Abbie Pool had three digs and 13 assists.
Alma advanced to take on #1 Centura on Tuesday. The Cardinals lost the first two sets 25-22, 25-20, won the third set 25-19, and lost the fourth set 25-12, losing the match, 3-1. Moore had 17 kills, two aces, and 10 digs; Taylor Pool had eight kills; Epp had eight kills and 12 digs; Neal had two aces and 10 digs; A. Pool had two aces, five digs, and 16 assists; Scott had seven digs and 14 assists; and Neubauer had five digs.
Alma finished their season with a 14-17 record.
Arapahoe
The Warriors were the #3 seed in the tough D1-11 subdistrict. They faced #2 Maywood-Hayes Center on Monday and gave it everything they had, pushing the Wolves to five sets. Arapahoe took the first two sets with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, but dropped the next three sets with set scores of 31-29, 25-21, and 15-8, losing the match, 3-2. Emma Strand had 25 kills and 19 digs; Clara Hilker had 17 kills, five aces, and 11 digs; Cydney Carlson had 11 kills and two blocks; Ryleigh Tidyman had four kills and nine digs; Chloe Gooden had 14 digs; Suttyn Shafer had 20 digs; Taytum Roskop had 10 digs; and Suttyn Shafer had 17 digs and 49 assists.
Arapahoe finished their season with a 16-10 record.
Bertrand
The Vikings were the #3 seed in the D2-8 subdistrict and faced #2 Franklin on Monday. The Flyers took the first set 25-17, Bertrand took set two 25-22, and Franklin took sets three and four with set scores of 25-16 and 25-20 to win the match, 3-1. Livia Phillips had 11 kills, two blocks, and 26 digs; Addy Sand had eight kills, two aces, and 17 digs; Adlea Hock had seven kills and 19 digs; Baylee Kipp had 28 digs; Bailey Vinzant had six digs; and Addison Andersen had 25 digs.
The Vikings finished their season with a 4-24 record.
Cambridge
Cambridge was the #1 seed in the D2-8 subdistrict and faced #4 Wilcox-Hildreth on Monday. The Trojans earned the 3-0 sweep over the Falcons with a set score of 25-9, 25-5, and 25-4. Brooklyn Holtze had nine kills, 10 digs, and 13 assists; Joslyn Holtze had nine kills, two aces, and five digs; Mallory Springer had eight kills, five aces, 15 digs, and 15 assists; Kolbryn Clason had two aces, six digs, and six assists; Annabelle Taylor had three aces and two digs; and Elisabeth Kubik had four digs.
On Tuesday, the Trojans faced #2 Franklin. It was a 3-0 sweep for Cambridge with set scores of 25-14, 25-10, and 25-11. B. Holtze had seven kills, five aces, eight digs, and 11 assists; Springer had seven kills, 17 digs, and nine assists; J. Holtze had six kills, three aces, four blocks, and three digs; Clason had two aces, four blocks, four digs, and four assists; Taylor had three aces, two blocks, and five digs; and Kubik had nine digs.
The Trojans advanced to a district final match on Saturday. The Trojans earned the #3 seed and hosting rights for the D2-3 District final match against #14 Falls City Sacred Heart. Cambridge earned the 3-0 sweep over the Irish with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-8. B. Holtze had 13 kills, three aces, 12 digs, and 11 assists; Springer had nine kills, four digs, and 20 assists; J. Holtze had eight kills and 13 digs; Taylor had two blocks and six digs; and Clason had 10 digs. With that win, the Trojans qualified for the state tournament.
Cambridge has a record of 26-7 and earned the #3 seed in the Class D2 Tournament. The Trojans will face #6 Mullen on Thursday at 11:00 AM CT on the South Court at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Dundy County Stratton
The Tigers were the #1 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict and faced #4 South Platte on Monday. The Tigers earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, and 25-10. Abi Spargo had 15 kills, three blocks, and five digs; Emily Schack had nine kills, four aces, and seven digs; Clara Spargo had seven kills and three aces; Kimberly Escobar had eight digs; and Bree Lutz had 30 assists.
The Tigers advanced to take on #3 Hitchcock County on Tuesday. DCS earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-23, 30-28, and 25-18. Schack had 16 kills and 12 digs; A. Spargo had 15 kills, six blocks, and 10 digs; C. Spargo had 11 kills and 15 digs; Ava Lutz had three aces and five digs; Escobar had 10 digs; and B. Lutz had eight digs and 42 assists.
The Tigers advanced to a district final match on Saturday and earned the #4 seed and hosting rights for the D2-4 District Final match against #13 Crawford. The Tigers swept Crawford, 3-0. With the win, the Tigers qualified for the state tournament.
Dundy County Stratton has a 26-6 record and earned the #4 seed and will face #5 Garden County at 11:00 AM CT on the North Court at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Hi-Line
Hi-Line was the #4 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and started thier tournament run with #5 Medicine Valley on Monday. The Bulls earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-18. Rilee Schutz had 13 kills and 19 digs; Kylee Kubert had six kills and 11 digs; Bentley Stubbs had four aces and 10 digs; and Klaire Pohl had two aces, six digs, and 20 assists.
With that win, the Bulls advanced to take on #1 Southwest that same evening. Hi-Line was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 25-19. Schutz had nine kills and eight digs; Stubbs had two aces and four digs; Jurnee Harris had six digs; Piper Puls had five digs; Kubert had 13 digs; and Pohl had four aces, four digs, and 15 assists.
Hi-Line wrapped up their season with an 11-19 record.
Hitchcock County
The Falcons were the #3 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict and faced #2 Paxton on Monday. Hitchcock County earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, and 25-22. Asia Homma had 15 kills, two aces, and 19 digs; Riley Hagan had 10 kills, four aces, and 16 digs; Madysen Carlson had nine kills and three blocks; Kalissa Hagan had nine digs and 15 assists; Jayda Wood had 12 digs and 24 assists; and Katelyn Cook had seven digs.
On Tuesday, Hitchcock County faced #1 Dundy County Stratton. The Falcons were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-23, 30-28, and 25-18. Carlson had 11 kills; R. Hagan had 11 kills and 15 digs; Homma had 10 kills and two digs; K. Hagan had 10 digs and 19 assists; Wood had 15 digs and 13 assists; and Cook had five digs.
Hitchcock County finished their season with a 12-20 record.
Maxwell
The Wildcats were the #3 seed in the C2-7 subdistrict and faced #2 Ord on Monday. Maxwell was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, and 26-24. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
Maxwell finished their season with a 16-13 record.

Maywood-Hayes Center
MHC was the #2 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and faced #3 Arapahoe on Monday. After trailing 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 25-19, the Wolves took the next three sets to pull off the reverse sweep with set scores of 31-29, 25-21, and 15-8, winning the match, 3-2. Caylie Softley had 13 kills, four aces, and 14 digs; Karissa Stengel had 12 kills and 19 digs; Addison Richards had nine kills and nine blocks; Grace Loomis had eight kills and two blocks; Blayklee Farr had eight kills and 11 digs; Jillian Johnson had five kills and five blocks; Haylie Gustafson had two blocks; Lanie Soundy had nine digs and 18 assists; Jaylee Sellers had 21 digs and 23 assists; and Ensley Lawless had 16 digs.
On Tuesday, MHC faced #1 Southwest and was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-19. Softley had 11 kills and six digs; Stengel had seven kills, two blocks, and 19 digs; Richards had five kills and two blocks; Johnson had six blocks; Farr had six blocks and nine digs; Soudny had nine digs and nine assists; Sellers had seven digs and 14 assists; and Loomis had six digs.
The Wolves had enough power points to earn a Wildcard and earn a district final match for a chance to qualify for state. MHC is the #10 seed and faced #7 Ansley-Litchfield at Litchfield in the D1-7 District Final Match. The Wolves were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, and 25-14. Medicine Valley
The Raiders were the #5 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and faced #4 Hi-Line on Monday. Medicine Valley was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-18. Oakley Stout had eight kills, three blocks, and 10 digs; Aspen Closman had two aces; Kamree Elsten had 13 digs and 14 assists; TeeJay Hildebrandt had 10 digs; Zoe Trimble had five digs; and Gracie Johns had two aces and four digs.
The Raiders finished their season with a record of 2-25.

Paxton
The Tigers were the #2 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict and faced #3 Hitchcock County on Monday. Paxton was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, and 25-22. Addison Holm had nine kills, two blocks, and five digs; Jakcee Mitchell had seven kills and seven digs; Reece Glinn had five kills and six digs; Jaleigh Hansen had four aces and five digs; Cayla Peterson had 15 digs; and Hadleigh Kramer had eight digs and 16 assists.
Paxton earned a wildcard to advance to a district final match on Saturday. The #16 Tigers faced #1 Wynot at Wynot on Saturday in the D2-1 District Final. Southern Valley
The Eagles were the #5 seed in the D1-9 subdistrict and faced #4 Axtell. Southern Valley was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, and 25-14. Lauren Quinn had 10 kills and 13 digs; Sophia Cunningham had six kills and 18 digs; Lorelie Horwart had five kills; Cali Santifer had 31 digs; and Emercen Lovitt had nine digs and 18 assists.
Southern Valley finished their season with a 10-20 record.
Southwest
The Roughriders were the #1 seed D1-11 subdistrict and faced #4 Hi-Line on Monday. The Roughriders earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 25-19. Kyra Nelms had 22 kills; Anikka Nelms had 18 kills and 10 digs; Bellamie Stritt had three aces and 11 digs; Alivia Cure had six digs; Caitlyn Adams had fice digs; and Aspen Billeter had two aces, 14 digs, and 35 assists.
On Tuesday, the Roughriders swept #2 Maywood-Hayes Center with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-19, winning 3-0. K. Nelms had 20 kills, two aces, five digs, and two blocks; A. Nelms had 15 kills, four aces, and 13 digs; Billeter had four kills, two blocks, seven digs, and 33 assists; Cure had six digs; Adams had 15 digs; Stritt had 10 digs; and Lacie Houser had four digs.
The Roughriders advanced to a district final match on Saturday and earned the #8 seed in the D1-8 District Final, hosting #9 Elgin Public/Pope John. Southwest swept the Wolfpack, 3-0, with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, and 25-19. K. Nelms had 27 kills and four digs; A. Nelms had 12 kills and 12 digs; Cure had seven digs; Adams had six digs; Stritt had nine digs; Teagan Stritt had six digs; and Billeter had 11 digs and 32 assists. The win advanced the Roughriders to the state tournament.
Southwest had a 28-5 record, earned the #7 seed in the D1 tournament, and will face #2 Overton on Thursday at 1:00 P.M. CT on the South Court at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Sutherland
The #3 seed in the D1-12 subdistrict, Sutherland, faced #2 Wauneta-Palisade on Monday. They were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, and 25-10. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
The Sailors finished the season with a record of 6-23.
Wallace
Wallace was the #5 seed in the D2-9 subdistrict and faced #4 South Platte. Wallace lost the first two sets with set scores of 25-23, 25-22. Wallace won the third set, 25-23, and lost the fourth set, 25-17, losing the match, 3-1. Reagan Finley had 12 kills, two blocks, and 14 digs; Kaley Sauser had nine kills, two aces, 20 digs, and 19 assists; Maddison Gartrell had six kills and 18 digs; Allyson Kemp had three aces and five digs; Mariana Aceves-Lopez had 14 digs; and Afton Nelms had nine digs.
Wallace finished their season with a record of 7-21.
Wauneta-Palisade
Wauenta-Palisade was the #2 seed in the D1-12 subdistrict and faced #3 Sutherland on Monday. The Broncos earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, and 25-10. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
With that win, the Broncos had to make the long drive to Morrill on Tuesday, and they earned the 3-1 win. Morrill took the first set 25-18, and the Bronocs took the next three sets with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-17. Wauneta-Palisade advanced to a district final match on Saturday and is the #15 seed in the D1-2 District Final against #2 Overton at Overton. The Broncos were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-15. No stats have been entered -- We will update the blog when they have been posted.
The Broncos finished their season with a record of 20-12.
