RPAC Girls Basketball Results as of 1/11

It was a full week for the RPAC teams, and a couple of teams also represented RPAC at the Nebraska Girls Basketball Showcase in Kearney over the weekend. Check out the results from the week.

Alma
Alma had a jam-packed week, starting with hosting Axtell on Monday. The Cardinals jumped out early, 20-4 after the first quarter, and kept the pressure on to defeat the Wildcats, 71-18. Kinley Ford had 25 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and six steals; Kamryn Scott had 22 points, three rebounds, and four steals; Tierston Moore had eight points and four rebounds; Kamri Neal had six points, four rebounds, and three assists; Abbie Pool had three points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals; and Taylor Pool had four rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
On Tuesday, Alma traveled to Superior and earned the 57-12 win. Ford had 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, and a block; Moore had 10 points, three rebounds, and four steals; Scott had nine points, two rebounds, and two steals; and Neal had four points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
On Friday, the Cardinals hosted Norton, KS. Alma dominated from the jump and won 62-21. No stats have been uploaded at the time of writing the blog. As soon as they are uploaded, we will update the blog.
The Cardinals faced Thayer Central on Saturday at Kearney High for the Nebraska Girls Basketball Showcase. It was a low-scoring affair, with buckets hard to come by, and it took the entire game to find a winner. The Cardinals came out on top as Ford hit the game-winning shot as time expired to win 33-31. Alma is 11-1 and will host Amherst on Tuesday, Hi-Line on Thursday, and travel to Hitchcock County on Friday.
Arapahoe
On Tuesday, Arapahoe hosted Maxwell and earned the 71-32 win. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup. You can read the full recap by clicking here. Chloe Gooden had 19 points, three rebounds, five assists, and four steals; Emma Strand had 18 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals; Suttyn Shafer had 10 points, two rebounds, and six assists; Clara Hilker had eight points and 11 rebounds; Ryleigh Tidyman had six points and three steals; and Sawyer Shafer had four rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
On Friday, the Warriors hosted Medicine Valley. Arapahoe defeated the Raiders 55-12. Suttyn Shafer had 17 points, four assists, and six steals; Sawyer Shafer had 17 points and two steals; Hilker had 10 points, 14 rebounds, and four steals; Gooden had five points; and Tidyman had four points, nine rebounds, and four steals.
On Saturday, Arapahoe faced Mullen at Kearney High School for the Nebraska Girls Basketball Showcase. The Warriors jumped out and took control of the game right away to run away with the 69-49 win. Suttyn Shafer had 22 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and three steals; Sawyer Shafer had 17 points, two rebounds, two assists, and three steals; Hilker had 11 points, 14 rebounds, and four steals; Strand had eight points, 10 rebounds, and four assists; Tidyman had six points, four rebounds, and two steals; and Gooden had five points, two assists, and three steals.
The Warriors are 10-2 and will travel to Loomis on Tuesday and host Hi-Line on Friday.
Bertrand
Bertrand hosted Wilcox-Hildreth on Tuesday and defeated the Falcons 50-25. Addison Andersen had 18 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals; Adlea Hock had 12 points; Adrian Sand had six points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals; Livia Philips had five points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and four steals; Ashlynn Edgren had four points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals; and Malia Brown had five rebounds.

Andersen had nine points and 12 rebounds; Sand had nine points; Philips had six points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals; and Baylee Kipp had six points and three steals.

Cambridge
The Trojans had a light week as they traveled to Southwest on Friday. Cambridge was able to hold off a Roughrider comeback to win, 61-56. Brooklyn Holtze had 23 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals; Mallory Springer had 17 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocks; Elisabeth Kubik had nine points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals; and Aspen Webb had eight points and five rebounds.
Cambridge is 7-3 and will travel to Medicine Valley on Tuesday, Sutherland on Friday, and host Maxwell on Saturday.
Dundy County Stratton
On Thursday, Dundy County Stratton hosted Decatur Community, KS, and picked up a 72-50 win. Abi Spargo had 22 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals; Clara Spargo had 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals; Emily Schack had 13 points and seven rebounds; Ava Lutz had 11 points and three steals; and Kimberly Escobar had nine points, two rebounds, four assists, and eight steals.
The Tigers remain unbeaten at 10-0 and will host Hitchcock County on Tuesday, Medicine Valley on Thursday, and Loomis on Saturday.

Hi-Line
Hi-Line hosted Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday and lost to the Wolves, 80-14. Olivia Wall had five points; Dynastee Redden had seven rebounds; and Shelby Jurjens had five rebounds.
On Thursday, the Bulls hosted SEM and lost to the Mustangs, 52-39. Bentley Stubbs had 18 points, five rebounds, and two assists; Wall had eight points, three assists, and six steals; Redden had six points and nine rebounds; Jurjens had five points and six rebounds; and Whitney Wall had five rebounds and five assists.
Hi-Line is 2-8 and will host Southwest on Tuesday, travel to Alma on Thursday, and travel to Arapahoe on Friday.
Hitchcock County
Hitchcock County traveled to Southwest on Tuesday and lost 56-46. Kalissa Hagan had 11 points, four rebounds, and two steals; Reese Tines had 10 points; Asia Homma had nine points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and two steals; Madysen Carlson had seven points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks; and Aspen Hazlitt had seven points and three rebounds.

Maxwell

Kristyn Cheek had 17 points and nine rebounds; Emory Christensen had seven points and 10 rebounds; and Madelynn Nelson had six rebounds.
On Friday, Maxwell traveled to Hershey and lost to the Panthers 59-36. Christensen had nine points and six rebounds; Nelson had eight points, three rebounds, and four steals; and Cheek had seven points and seven rebounds.
Maxwell hosted Overton on Saturday and lost to the Eagles, 41-27. Cheek had 11 points and 10 rebounds; Madelyn Flock had 10 points, seven rebounds, and three steals; Nelson had five rebounds and four steals; and Christensen had 14 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
The Wildcats are 3-7 and will travel to Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday, South Loup on Friday, and Cambridge on Saturday.
Maywood-Hayes Center
Maywood-Hayes Center traveled to Hi-Line on Tuesday and ran away with the 80-14 win. Caylie Softley had 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, and eight steals; Karissa Stengel had 11 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and seven steals; Jaylee Sellers had 11 points and two steals; Paytyn Stengel had 10 points, two rebounds, two assists, and five steals; Carly Softly had eight points; Addison Richards had six points and three steals; Ava Messersmith had three steals; Blayklee Farr had eight points, five rebounds, and four steals; and Aylee Hernandez had six points and three steals. The Wolves totaled 38 steals in the game.

Medicine Valley
The Raiders hosted Wallace on Tuesday and earned a win, defeating the Wildcats 47-35. Kamree Elsten had 13 points and six rebounds; Oakley Stout had 12 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, and nine steals; Kaedance Phelps had six points; Brooke Kotschwar had five points and six rebounds; Jordiya Phillips had 10 rebounds and five steals; and Delany Evans had four points, four rebounds, and three steals.
On Friday, the Raiders traveled to Arapahoe and lost to the Warriors 55-12. Evans had five points and five rebounds; Stout had three points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks; and Phillips had five rebounds.
Medicine Valley is 2-8 and will host Cambridge on Tuesday, travel to Dundy County Stratton on Thursday, and host Mullen on Friday.
Paxton
The Tigers hosted Leyton on Thursday and dominated, winning 55-13. Marlee Gleason had 13 points and seven rebounds; Natalie Jorgensen had 12 points and three rebounds; Jaleigh Hansen had 10 points and four rebounds; Ella Fote had seven points and six steals; Jakcee Mitchell had seven points, six rebounds, and two steals; Reece Glinn had three rebounds and five steals; Addison Holm had four points, eight rebounds, and three steals.

The Eagles hosted Hitchcock County on Monday and lost to the Falcons 45-30. Tori Bose had 10 points, 20 rebounds, three steals, and seven blocks; Lauren Quinn had nine points, three rebounds, and three steals; Haisley McQuiston had four points and six rebounds.

On Tuesday, Southwest hosted Hitchcock County and defeated the Falcons 56-46. Aspen Billeter had 22 points and eight rebounds; Anikka Nelms had 12 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks; Kyra Nelms had 10 points, seven rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two blocks; and Caitlyn Adams had seven points, five rebounds, and three steals.
The Roughriders hosted Cambridge on Friday and lost to the Trojans 61-56. Aspen Billeter had 28 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals; A. Nelms had 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks; Kassidy Vaughn had six points and nine rebounds; and Caitlyn Adams had five rebounds and four assists.
Southwest traveled to Wauneta-Palisade on Saturday and lost, 59-56. Billeter had 20 points and 19 rebounds; A. Nelms had 13 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists; Vaughn had 11 points and nine rebounds; Teagan Stritt had five points and four rebounds; and Adams had four points and five rebounds.
The Roughriders are 6-6 and will travel to Hi-Line on Tuesday and host Bertrand on Friday.

Sutherland
The Sailors traveled to Hyannis on Tuesday and lost to the Longhorns 51-39. Phoenix Brown had 19 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four steals; Eliana Dyer had 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists; and Gracie Pearson had four rebounds and three steals.
On Thursday, Sutherland traveled to Creek Valley and won in a dominating 55-15 fashion. Brown had 15 points, 17 rebounds, two assists, and five steals; Dyer had 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals; Keeley Dempcy had six points; and Pearson had four points, nine rebounds, and four steals.
Sutherland lost to Sandhills/Thedford 66-41 at home on Friday. Brown had 20 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and three steals, and Dyer had 10 points.
The Sailors are 4-6 and will travel to Arthur County on Tuesday, host Cambridge on Friday, and host Hitchcock County on Saturday.
Wallace
Wallace traveled to Medicine Valley on Tuesday and lost to the Raiders 47-35. Kaley Sauser had 22 points, 16 rebounds, and three steals; Elliana Robertson had eight points, nine rebounds, and three blocks; and Regan Martin had seven rebounds and four assists.
On Friday, Wallace hosted Arthur County and lost 38-29. Sauser had 18 pointsm three rebounds, and eight steals; Robertson had five points; Reagan Finley had four points, six rebounds, and three steals; and Martin had six rebounds and three steals.
Wallace is 1-9 and will host South Platte on Thursday and travel to Paxton on Friday.
Wauneta-Palisade
Wauneta-Palisade hosted Cheylin, KS, on Tuesday and got the 60-50 win. Kamryn Fanning had 29 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals; Mesa Cox had 11 points, 14 rebounds, and three assists; Molly Yearous had seven points and seven rebounds; Emma Action had five points, seven rebounds, and five assists; Kaia Applegarth had six points and four rebounds; and Lilly Dinnel had seven rebounds.
