RPAC Volleyball Results as of 10/12

Some teams have wrapped up their regular season schedules, while a majority will this week before the RPAC Tournament kicks off on Thursday. The RPAC bracket has been released, and we have the bracket at the end of the blog. Stay tuned this week as we bring you updates and coverage of the RPAC Volleyball Tournament. Alma

Alma traveled to Southern Valley on Tuesday and pulled off a reverse sweep to defeat the Eagles, 3-2. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup. Click here to read the full blog. Alma had 13 aces in the match, with Abbie Pool having four aces, Halee Neubauer having four aces, Kamryn Scott having three aces, and Tierston Moore and Vayden Epp each having one ace. Moore had 16 kills, two blocks, and 10 digs; Scott had 11 kills, two blocks, nine digs, and 18 assists; Taylor Pool had seven kills and six blocks; Epp had six kills and 18 digs; A. Pool had two blocks, 17 digs, and 23 assists.


On Thursday, the Cardinals traveled to SEM and were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-11. Epp had nine kills and nine digs; Moore had seven kills and 12 digs; Scott had five kills, nine digs, and 13 assists; T. Pool had five kills and three blocks; A. Pool had five digs and eight assists; Neubauer had five digs; and Neal had 17 digs.


Alma is 11-14 and will host Hi-Line on Tuesday to wrap up their regular season. The Cardinals are the #4 seed in the East and will face #5 Hi-Line on Thursday at 5:00 PM CT at Southwest.


Arapahoe

Arapahoe traveled to Axtell on Tuesday and pulled off a reverse sweep over the Wildcats. Axtell won the first two sets 25-15 and 25-12, but the Warrirors took the next three sets 25-23, 25-22, and 15-11, to get the 3-2 win. Emma Strand had 12 kills; Clara Hilker had 10 kills, four aces, and 18 digs; Cydney Carlson had five kills; Ryleigh Tidyman had five kills and nine digs; Sawyer Shafer had five aces, eight digs, and 24 assists; Suttyn Shafer had 28 digs; Chloe Gooden had eight digs; and Taytum Roskop had 14 digs.


On Thursday, the Warriors hosted Northern Valley, KS, and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-12, 25-7, and 25-11. Arapahoe had 15 aces in the match, with Sawyer Shafer having six aces, Strand having four aces, and Suttyn Shafer having three aces. Strand had nine kills and three digs; Hilker had nine kills, two blocks, and seven digs; Carlson had five kills and four blocks; Tidyman had four kills and four digs; Sawyer Shafer had 10 digs and 21 assists; Suttyn Shafer had eight digs; and Roskop had nine digs.


On Friday, Arapahoe traveled to take on Hi-Line. The Warriors earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-20. Hilker had 13 kills, three aces, and 11 digs; Strand had 12 digs, four aces, and four digs; Tidyman had seven kills and three digs; Roskop had seven kills and four digs; Carlson had four blocks; Suttyn Shafer had two aces and 13 digs; Gooden had 13 digs; and Sawyer Shafer had seven digs and 33 assists.


Arapahoe is now 13-8 on the year and will wrap up their regular season with a road trip to Norton, KS, on Tuesday. The Warriors are the #3 seed in the East and will face #6 Southern Valley at 3:30 PM CT on Thursday in Cambridge.


Bertrand

The Vikings traveled to Wilcox-Hildreth for a triangular with the Falcons and Ansley-Litchfield.


Against Wilcox-Hildreth, the Vikings lost the first set 25-15, won the second set 25-20, and lost the third set 25-22, losing the match 2-1. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


Against Ansley-Litchfield, Bertrand was swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-16 and 25-16. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


On Friday, Bertrnad traveled to Loomis and was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, and 25-19. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


Bertrand traveled to Anselmo-Merna on Saturday for a tournament and had three matches against Anselmo-Merna, Medicine Valley, and Ainsworth.


Against the host Anselmo-Merna, the Vikings were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-15 and 25-19. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


Against Medicine Valley, Bertrand earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-21 and 25-20. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


Against Ainsworth, the Vikings were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-19 and 25-19. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


Bertrand is now 4-20 and is off until the RPAC tournament on Thursday. The Vikings are the #7 seed in the East and will face #2 Cambridge at 5:00 PM CT at Cambridge.

Cambridge

Cambridge traveled to Maxwell on Tuesday for a triangular with the Wildcats and South Loup.


Against Maxwell, the Wildcats won set one 25-23, while the Trojans took the second and third sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-18, to win the match, 2-1. Brooklyn Holtze had 12 kills, nine digs, and nine assists; Josyln Holtze had seven kills and had 13 digs; Mallory Springer had six kills, 10 digs, and 21 assists; Annabelle had six kills, two blocks, and five digs; Kolbryn Clason had two aces and nine digs; and Elisabeth Kubik had two blocks and 15 digs.


Against South Loup, the Trojans took the match, 2-0, with set scores of 25-7 and 25-8. B. Holtze had four kills and five assists; J. Holtze had four kills, seven aces, two blocks, and five digs; Kubik had four kills, three blocks, and two digs; Taylor had three blocks and one dig; Clason had two blocks and two digs; and Springer had eight assists.


Hi-Line traveled to Cambridge on Thursday for a dual, and the Trojans earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-8, 25-8, and 25-12. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


Cambridge is now 18-6 and will finish up their regular season on Tuesday with a trip to Southwest for a triangular with the Roughriders and Hitchcock County. The Trojans are the #2 seed in the East and will face #7 Bertrand on Thursday at 5:00 PM CT on their home court.


Dundy County Stratton

The Tigers traveled to Wallace for a triangular with the Wildcats and South Platte.


Against South Platte, DCS earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-9 and 25-10. Clara Spargo had eight kills and four digs; Emily Schack had six kills, four aces, and eight digs; Abi Spargo had five kills and six digs; Ava Lutz had two blocks; Kimberly Escobar had seven digs; and Bree Lutz had 15 assists.


Against Wallace, the Tigers earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-11 and 25-14. Schack had 10 kills, three aces, and six digs; C. Spargo had nine kills, three blocks, and nine digs; A. Spargo had six kills, four blocks, and eight digs; A. Lutz had five digs; and B. Lutz had 23 assists.


On Thursday, DCS traveled to take on Class B Sidney and pushed the Red Raiders to five sets. The Tigers lost the first set 25-15, won the second set 25-22, and the third set 25-23. They lost the fourth set 25-20 and the fifth set 15-7, losing the match 3-2. Schack had 21 kills, four blocks, and 14 digs; C. Spargo had 10 kills, one block, and 19 digs; A. Spargo had seven kills, five blocks, and 15 digs; A. Lutz had five blocks and six digs; B. Lutz had one block, eight digs, and 37 assists; and Escobar had 10 digs.


Dundy County Stratton is 19-4 and will finish up their regular season with a triangular in Hershey against the Panthers and Perkins County on Tuesday. The Tigers earned the #1 seed in the West and will face #8 Sutherland on Thursday at 3:30 PM CT at home.


Hi-Line

The Bulls started their week on Monday by hosting Sandhills Valley and earned the 3-1 win. Hi-Line took the first two sets with set scores of 26-24, 26-24, lost the third set 25-23, and won the fourth set 25-17. The Bulls posted 17 aces in the match, with Klaire Pohl having nine aces, Rilee Schutz having four aces, Lauryn Ruda having three aces, and Bristol Kubert having one ace. Ruda had 17 kills, three blocks, and three digs; Schutz had 11 kills and 19 digs; Piper Puls had six kills and eight digs; Bentley Stubbs had two blocks and nine digs; B. Kubert had seven digs; Jurnee Harris had eight digs; Kylee Kubert had 10 digs; and Pohl had 10 digs and 31 assists.


Hi-Line traveled to SEM on Tuesday and was swept by the Mustangs, 3-0, with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, and 25-10. Ruda had four kills and two blocks, Schutz had four kills, two blocks, and six digs; Stubbs had four kills; Pohl had two aces, two blocks, six digs, and 14 assists; and K. Kubert had 10 digs.


The Bulls traveled to Cambridge on Thursday and were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-8, 25-8, and 25-12. Ruda had 12 kills and three blocks; Schutz had 10 digs; Stubbs had six digs; B. Kubert had eight digs; K. Kubert had six digs; and Pohl had 10 assists.


Hi-Line hosted Arapahoe on Friday night and was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-20. Ruda had 10 kills and two blocks; Schutz had nine kills and 13 digs; Stubbs had two aces and five digs; Harris had five digs; Puls had eight digs; K. Kubert had nine digs; and Phl had six digs and 18 assists.


The Bulls are 9-15 and will travel to Alma on Tuesday to finish their regular season schedule. Hi-Line is the #5 seed in the East and will face #4 Alma on Thursday at 5:00 PM CT at Southwest.

Hitchcock County

The Falcons hosted a triangular on Tuesday with Decatur Community, KS, and Goodland, KS.


Against Decatur Community, the Falcons earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-9 and 25-22. Riley Hagan had eight kills and 13 digs; Madysen Carlson had eight kills and two blocks; Asia Homma had seven kills, two aces, and 10 digs; Kalissa Hagan had three aces, 13 digs, and 13 assists; Katelyn Cook had five digs; and Jayda Wood had 11 assists.


Against Goodland, Hitchcock County lost the first set 25-19, won the second set 25-23, and lost the third set 25-17 to lose the match, 2-1. Carlson had 13 kills and four blocks; R. Hagan had seven kills and 18 digs; Homma had seven kills and 18 digs; K. Hagan had 18 digs and nine assists; Cook had two blocks and nine digs; E. Hagan had six digs; and Wood had 12 digs and 15 assists.


Hitchcock County is now 9-17 and concludes their regular season on Tuesday with a triangular with Southwest and Cambridge at Southwest. The Falcons are the #6 seed in the West and will play #3 Paxton at 3:30 PM CT at Hayes Center on Thursday.


Maxwell

Maxwell hosted a triangular on Tuesday with South Loup and Cambridge.


Against Cambridge, the Wildcats took the first set 25-23, but the Trojans won the next two sets 25-23 and 25-18, resulting in a 2-1 loss for Maxwell. Kristyn Cheek had 13 kills, two blocks, and 10 digs; Rylynn Quick had seven kills; Emory Christensen had six kills, two aces, nine digs, and 18 assists; Madelyn Flock had six kills, two aces, and 12 digs; Jayda Frederick had three blocks; Madelynn Nelson had 12 digs; and Ellys Gosnell had 11 digs.


Against South Loup, Maxwell earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18 and 25-17. Christensen had seven kills, four aces, two blocks, three digs, and nine assists; Cheek had six kills; Quick had four aces and three blocks; Frederick had two blocks; and Nelson had four digs.


On Thursday, Maxwell traveled to Paxton. The Wildcats took set one 25-16, the Tigers won set two 25-18, and Maxwell closed out the match by winning sets three and four with scores of 25-20 and 25-20, securing the match 3-1. Cheek had 15 kills, two aces, and nine digs; Flock had eight kills, two aces, and nine digs; Christensen had seven kills, 15 digs, and 26 assists; Quick had three aces and nine digs; Gosnell had two aces and 11 digs; Frederick had three blocks; and Nelson had 17 digs.


On Saturday, the Wildcats traveled to Hershey for a triangular with the Panthers and North Platte St. Pats.


Against Hershey, the Wildcats lost the first set 25-23, won the second set 25-22, and lost the third set 25-17, losing the match 2-1. Cheek had 13 kills and four digs; Quick had nine kills; Flock had six kills and 15 digs; Christensen had six kills, two blocks, 13 digs, and 26 assists; Keira Strickland had two aces; Nelson had 15 digs; and Gosnell had nine digs.


Against St. Pat's, Maxwell dropped the first set 25-19, but won the next two sets with set scores of 25-8 and 25-17 to win the match, 2-1. Cheek had 17 kills and three digs; Flock had six kills and eight digs; Quick had five kills; Christensen had five kills, four blocks, six digs, and 21 assists; Gosnell had three aces; Frederick had three blocks; and Nelson had eight digs.


Maxwell is 14-10 and will wrap up their regular season on Tuesday with a home match against Sandhills Valley. The Wildcats are the #5 seed in the West and will face #4 Wauneta-Palisade on Thursday at Dundy County Stratton at 5:00 PM CT.



Maywood-Hayes Center

Maywood-Hayes Center had just one match last week against Southern Valley on Thursday at home. The Wolves earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-20, 25-10, and 25-14. Karissa Stengel had 15 kills and 12 digs; Addison Richards had eight kills and two blocks; Blayklee Farr had five kills and eight digs; Jaylee Sellers had four aces, four digs, and eight assists; Haylie Gustafson had three blocks; Jillian Johnson had five blocks; Lanie Soundy had nine digs and 14 assists; and Ensley Lawless had 13 digs.


MHC is now 19-6 and will host Sutherland on Tuesday to conclude their regular season. The Wolves are the #2 seed in the West and will face #7 Wallace on Thursday at 5:00 PM CT in Hayes Center.

Medicine Valley

The Raiders hosted Brady on Tuesday and were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-14, 25-7, and 25-19. Teejay Hildebrandt had six kills, two aces, and nine digs; Oakley Stout had nine digs; Kamree Elsten had six kills and nine digs; Kenley Cole had eight digs; and Gracie Johns had nine digs.


Medicine Valley traveled to Southwest on Thursday and were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, and 25-10. Stout had three kills and six digs; Cole had three kills and five digs; Hildebrandt had 13 digs; and Elsten had five assists.


On Saturday, the Raiders attended the Anselmo-Merna tournament and had three matches against St. Mary's, Bertrand, and Sandhills Valley.


Against St Mary's, Medicine Valley was swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-12 and 25-13. Stout had three kills and six digs; Hildebrandt had three kills and five digs; and Elsten had five digs and three aces.


Against Bertrand, the Raiders were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-21 and 25-20. Stout had 11 kills and 11 digs; Hildebrandt had 10 kills, two aces, and 14 digs; Elsten had six aces, nine digs, and 23 assists; Cole had three aces and 11 digs; and Ashtyn Contrerez had seven digs.


Against Sandhills Valley, Medicine Valley won set one with a score of 25-23 and lost sets two and three with scores of 25-16 and 25-15. Cole had four kills and six digs; Hildebrandt had four kills and 14 digs; Stout had 17 digs; Johns had six digs; and Zoe Trimble had eight digs.


Medicine Valley is 1-21 and will host Wauneta-Palisade on Tuesday before the RPAC Tournament begins on Thursday. The Raiders are the #8 seed in the East and will face #1 Southwest on Thursday at 3:30 PM CT at Southwest.


Paxton

On Tuesday, the Tigers traveled to Leyton and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-10. Jakcee Mitchell had 10 kills, two aces, and 10 digs; Addison Holm had 10 kills and 18 digs; Reece Glinn had eight digs, three aces, and five digs; Jaleigh Hansen had six kills, two aces, and 12 digs; Cayla Peterson had four aces and six digs; and Hadleigh Kramer had two aces, five digs, and 31 assists.


On Thursday, Paxton hosted Maxwell. The Tigers won set one 25-16 and set two 25-18, but lost sets three and four with scores of 25-20 and 25-20, resulting in a 3-1 loss. Holm had 17 kills and 24 digs; Mitchell had 12 kills and 24 digs; Glinn had seven kills and nine digs; Hansen had six kills, two aces, and 12 digs; Peterson had 10 digs; and Kramer had six digs and 35 assists.


The Tigers are 15-10 and will finish up their regular season with Kimball at home on Tuesday. Paxton is the #3 seed in the West and will face #6 Hitchcock County at 3:30 PM CT at Hayes Center on Thursday.



Southern Valley

Southern Valley hosted Alma on Tuesday and lost to the Cardinals, 3-2. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup. Click here to read the full blog. Tori Bose had 17 kills, six aces, two blocks, and 16 digs; Lauren Quinn had six kills and nine digs; Lorelie Horwart had three blocks; Cali Santifer had 10 digs; Sophia Cunningham had 12 digs; Emercen Lovitt had nine digs and 26 assists; and Paisley Hammond had five digs.


On Thursday, the Eagles traveled to MHC and were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-20, 25-10, and 25-14. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


Southern Valley is 7-18 and is off until the RPAC Tournament, which starts on Thursday. The Eagles are the #6 seed in the East and will face #3 Arapahoe on Thursday at Cambridge at 3:30 PM CT.


Southwest

The Roughriders hosted Chase County and North Platte St. Pat's for a triangular on Tuesday.


Against Chase County, the Roughriders were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-13 and 25-12. Kyra Nelms had 13 kills; Anikka Nelms had five kills and four digs; Caitlyn Adams had eight digs; and Aspen Billeter had 15 assists.


Against North Platte St. Pat's, Southwest earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18 and 25-15. A. Nelms had 16 kills, two aces, and seven digs; K. Nelms had 11 kills, three aces, and five digs; Billeter had two aces, five digs, and 23 assists; Adams had five digs; and Bellamie Stritt had five digs.


On Thursday, Southwest hosted Medicine Valley and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, and 25-10. K. Nelms had 15 kills and eight digs; A. Nelms had 13 kills, three blocks, and 16 digs; Billeter had five kills, four digs, and 26 assists; Adams had two blocks and five digs; and Stritt had two aces and four digs.


Southwest is 20-4 and will finish out their regular season on Tuesday by hosting a triangular with Cambridge and Hitchcock County. The Roughriders are the #1 seed in the East and will face #8 Medicine Valley at 3:30 PM CT on Thursday at home.

Sutherland

Sutherland traveled to Sandhills/Thedford on Tuesday and was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-15. Kate Dyer had three kills; Macradee Lantis had six digs; Keeley Dempcy had seven digs; and Drew Rotert had nine digs and eight assists.


On Thursday, the Sailors hosted Hershey and were swept 3-0, with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, and 25-8. Dyer had eight kills; Addison Arvdal had five kills; Bryer Brown had nine digs; Jali Martinez had eight digs; Payten Weber had six digs; Dempcy had 15 digs; and Rotert had eight digs and 16 assists.


On Friday, Sutherland traveled to Kimball and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, and 25-23. Dyer had seven kills; Eliana Dyer had seven kills; Arvdal had seven kills; Leah Harper had five kills and five digs; Brown had six digs; Martinez had eight digs; Dempcy had 15 digs; Weber had eight digs; and Rotert had 18 digs, two aces, and 22 assists.


Sutherland is 6-18 and will travel to Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday. The Sailors are the #8 seed in the West and will face #1 Dundy County Stratton at 3:30 PM CT on Thursday at DCS.


Wallace

Wallace hosted Dundy County Stratton and South Platte for a triangular on Tuesday.


Against South Platte, the Wildcats earned the sweep, 2-0, with set scores of 25-17 and 25-18. Regan Martin had nine kills; Reagan Finley had eight kills, six aces, and eight digs; Kaley Sauser had 15 digs and eight assists; Maddison Gartrell had eight digs; Mariana Aceves-Lopez had five digs and 11 assists; and Briseyda Vazquez had eight digs.


Against DCS, the Wildcats were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-11 and 25-14. Gartrell had three kills and five digs; Finley had three kills; Sauser had three aces, eight digs, and three assists; and Aceves-Lopez had seven digs and two assists.


On Thursday, Wallace hosted Wauneta-Palisade and lost the match, 3-1. The Broncos took sets one and two with set scores of 25-20 and 25-14, Wallace took set three 25-19, and the Broncos took set four 25-19. Finley had 10 kills, three blocks, and 11 digs; Sauser had five kills, 11 digs, and seven assists; Gartrell had five kills and 10 digs; Martin had two blocks; Aceves-Lopez had 16 digs and 11 assists; and Vazquez had 12 digs.

Wauenta-Palisade

Wauneta-Palisade traveled to Garden County for a triangular with Perkins County and Garden County.


Against Garden County, the Broncos lost the first set 25-13, won the second set 25-14, and lost the third set 25-12, losing the match 2-1. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.

On Thursday, Wauneta-Palisade traveled to Wallace and earned the 3-1 win. The Broncos took sets one and two with set scores of 25-20 and 25-14, the Wildcats took set three 25-19, and the Broncos took set four 25-19. No stats have been reported yet -- When they are posted, we will update the blog.


Wauneta-Palisade is 14-10 and will travel to Medicine Valley on Tuesday before the RPAC Tournament. The Broncos are the #4 seed in the West and will face #5 Maxwell on Thursday at 5:00 PM CT at Dundy County Stratton.
