After snapping a 109-match losing streak last season on August 31st, 2024. Fast forward to November 2024, and the Tigers came up short in a four-set district final match. This season? Hitchcock County Wins at Home Friday, Moves on in Class D2 Playoffs
In the second round of the NSAA Class D2 Playoffs, the #3-seeded Hitchcock County Falcons hosted #19-seeded Twin Loup on Halloween night. On Friday afternoon, #2-seeded Dundy County Stratton hosted #15-seeded McCool Junction. DCS captured the win and advanced to the next round of the Class D1 playoffs, 52-8. Loomis Takes Down Cambridge in First Round of Class D2 Playoffs
Thursday night was the first round of the 8-Man Playoffs. In D2, #10 seed Loomis played host to #23 seed Cambridge. Back in late September these two teams played and Loomis won by a final of 66-38. On Thursday, Loomis won again by a final score of 66-30. Loomis got the scoring stared on a three-yard touchdown run by Cauy Meyer and it was 8-0 with 7:39 to go in the first.
